Chapter 20: Stuck in the Closet

Dipper's POV

I slowly opened my eyes., he didn't wake me up. The sun started to peek through the window. I looked around, I was in my own room. I rubbed the last bit of sleep out of my eyes and got up. I grabbed my hat from the side table and left my room quietly. I ran into Pyronica.

"Sorry Pyronica," I said.

"It's fine. I was actually going up to give you something."

"What were you going to give me?" She threw something yellow at me.

"Thanks, Pyronica!" Bill's sweater was finally washed.

"You're welcome Dipper." She turned around for a moment but then faced me again. "Also! Plans changed and you and Bill have a standard day."

"But who's going to take patrol?"

"Eightball and I will, he's been trying to find one of our old friends for a while now and I thought I would help him out. Plus you two found five people, you guys deserve a bit of a break."

"Alright, We'll probably just hang out with Leo and Ally."

"I'll see you around." Pyronica and I went our separate ways. I put on Bill's sweater and went downstairs to the kitchen to have some breakfast. I sat at one of the tables in the dining room. No one else was really awake, other than the few people on patrol.

"Hey Dipper." I heard.

"Oh hey, Evan," I said smiling at my friend. "What are you doing awake so early?" I asked.

"Eh, woke up and couldn't go back to sleep so I came out here. You?"

"Woke up two hours ago, went to the garden with Bill, and fell back asleep. I woke up again around half an hour ago and decided to just come down here and eat." Evan sat down next to me.

"So where's Bill?"

"I think he's sleeping? I don't know." Evan nodded his head.

"Wow Pine Tree, you didn't even wake me up." I flinched at the sudden voice. " I'm hurt." He said as he sat down.

"Shut up Bill," I said. 

"Nah. Hey Eightball." 

"What's up Dorito?"

"Nothing much." Bill took a look at me. "How the heck did you get my sweater back?"

"Pyronica gave it to me. Do you want it back?" I asked.

"Nah you look good in it." I put my head down and blushed.

"Thanks."

Bill's POV

After Pine Tree and I finished eating, we said goodbye to Eightball. We did standard stuff and ran into Leo and Ally. Soos and Melody needed to do stuff around the mansion and Wendy was on Patrol so Pine Tree and I volunteered to spend the day with them. They both wanted to play hide and seek. And lucky me, I was the seeker. We all agreed we would stay on the third floor in the first two halls.

"Twenty-eight, twenty-nine, thirty! Ready or not, here I come!" I looked through three rooms. Where were they? I went into another empty room. "Pine Tree! Ally! Come out, come out wherever you are!" I heard a giggle from the closet.

"Shh Ally, be quiet. He's going to find us!" I heard Pine Tree whisper.

"I wonder where they are," I said. I slowly walked towards them. I grabbed the handle, "maybe," I swung the door open. "Here!" I yelled. Ally screamed and laughed.

"Hey, Bill." Pine tree said. I helped Ally out.

"Go see if you can find Leo." She nodded and ran off. I turned back to Pine tree who was still on the pile of clothes in the closet. I Leaned on the closet frame. "Hey Pine Tree, like being in the closet?" He glared at me.
