Chapter Six

"Let's start the program!" Anunsyo ng emcee.

Normal and usual program lang. Prayer muna tapos endless introduction sa mga panauhing pandangal.

"And now, to give us a very special production number. Ladies and gentlemen, Black Ace!" Sigaw ng emcees. Parang mga tanga, naka-microphone na sisigaw pa.

Hah? Wait? What? Black Ace?

Bushak kaya naman pala umalis sa pwesto nila. Kala ko magpapalit na ng damit eh. Grabe ang crowd palaban, ang ingay dahil sa sigawan at hiyawan ng mga estudyante. May mga banners pa nga ang iba.

Kitang-kita ko naman ang mga guests na parang natutuwa pa sa kanilang mga nakikita, including my family na nasa front seat. Nanlalambot ako pagdating sa kanila shet.

Ang saya nila, sana kasama ako.

Black Ace positioned themselves in the middle of the court para kita ng lahat. Nasa center si Blake, ofcourse leader. They're gonna be singing Bigbang's Bang Bang Bang.

Wow! This will be Iconic.

Minutes later. They started performing. Damn! Blake is screaming hot. His eyes is on the other side of the court—

Issa.

Oh right. Issa.

"Blakey! I love youuu!"

"Topherrmylovess, galing mo!"

"Elijaahh, ang gwapo ng boses mo pero mas gwapo ka! Mahal kita!"

"Daemiel, Saranghae!"

"Lucaass, ang cute mo. Te amoo!"

Ilan lang yan sa mga sigawang naririnig ko. Grabe naman 'tong fangirls na itey. Dapat kalma kalma lang at tamang palakpak lang. Kahit ang totoo'y gusto ko nang lapitan si Blake at halikan.

They finished their performances with a bang and a smoke effect. Taray. Iconic.

"Wow! That's really amazing and the crowd just goes wild!" Parang di makapaniwalang sambit ng emcee.

Kitang-kita ko naman ang fulfillment sa mukhan ng pamilya ni Blake. They are so proud of Blake. I admire their family so much.

"Okay, students, calm down." Pagpapakalma ng emcees sa mga estudyante dahil hindi parin ata maka'move on. Nakabalik na nga ang Black Ace sa pwesto nila ang mga estudyante naman ay di parin maka'move on. Yung totoo mga teh?

"So much for that Iconic performance. May we now call, Mister Blair Montedo to give his speech. For this week's events and ofcourse, to formally open the celebration." Ani ng emcee kaya naman tumayo na si Mr. Montedo at nagpunta sa center para magbigay ng speech.

"Thank you emcee. Oh by the way students, the man in the center awhile back is my son. Proud of you, Blakey boy!" Pambungad ni Mister Montedo saka tiningnan si Blake, si Blake naman ay nginitian nalang ang kanyang ama. Wow first time. Tilian naman ang mga estudyante. I can see happiness in Mr. Blair's eyes, I admire him for loving Blake this way.

Nagbigay lang ng speech si Mr. Blair about sa celebration and school pati narin ang partnership. Our hospital will be this school's official hospital. Or should I say, Gomez' hospital since I feel like I don't belong anyway.

"And with that, I declare that the Week-long Foundation Celebration is open." Sigaw ulit ni Mr. Blaire. Seriously? Naka microphone na tapos sisigaw pa? Pero kahit ganon mas umibabaw prin ang hiyawan ng mga estudyanteng excited.

"Our celebration is officially open. So now, we will call the participants for this week's events. It's Athens International School versus South Valley High. Who do you think would reign this year?" Tanong ng emcee tapos ang mga gunggong namang nga estudyante, nagpapalakasan lang ng hiyawan.
