i frowned , confused with what he had said.
"hm? i don't understand. if we deny it then , it's all over." i stated my opinion.
"for you it might seems like that. once we deny this , new rumor will appear , people will question who was it , at the end it was me again. if this thing reappear again , people will question who was the girl." he explained.
it was illogical and yeah at the end he just want to defend himself.
"that's why , help me okay? play along." he said , his eyes seem so desperate.
did this stuff makes him lose his sanity?
"i..-" i stopped.
but he does sound desperate. maybe i should ask.
"why do you care so much about your image?" i asked , trying to find a logic reason why i need to do as what he said.
"it wasn't just about me. it's about my family. if thing keeps getting bigger , it might reach my parents' ears. and you guess what come next." he said again , he was so serious.
so that's why he don't want to stop it like that.
"so , what should i do for you?" i asked.
"play along , let people think you're my girlfriend and things will fade out eventually." he said.
"that's all?" i asked as he nodded.
"yes that's all."
"then how about people attacking me? they won't stop texting me and my brother." i said.
"don't worry , i'll make sure they quiet down tomorrow." he said as he smiled.
oh wait , he actually smiled. his little smile decorated his face that was so cold before. guess he's a human after all.
"stop staring at me and see you tomorrow. bye , suyeon." he said as he walked away.
what was that? did he just call me properly by name? and what's with that 'see you tomorrow.'? am i someone's girlfriend now? no , don't be mistaken kim suyeon , you're just playing along.
yeah once this thing ended , he probably won't say anything to me.
"kim suyeon!" it was hyeri , i knew it.
i turned around to see her.
"you said you will be at library?" she asked.
"i talked to renjun." i said.
"huh? really? are you serious?" she asked eagerly.
"why would i lie for something like that?" i asked.
"yeah you right. so are you okay or not?" she asked.
"i'm fine." i said as i smiled.
"alright , let's go to the class. guess what , i bought some milk for you." she said excitedly , like a little child. that's why i love her.
"thanks hyeri." i said as i pinched her nose.
"hey kim suyeon, don't you think we are old enough to stop doing something like this?" she asked as she touched her nose that is now red.
i laughed and she joined in.

jaemin walked back and forth , making the others annoyed.
"na jaemin can you stop? you're making me dizzy." renjun spoke up , hoping his friend would stop doing that.
"no , huang renjun are you freaking serious with that?" jaemin asked as he faced renjun , waiting for answer.
"i don't understand what's your problem with this?" renjun asked totally can't understand why his friend reacted like that.
"i can understand jaemin though." haechan said as his eyes glued to his phone screen.
"listen , i'm not that good but i do think you went overboard with that. she has nothing with this why would you hold her back like that?" jaemin asked , couldn't understand why renjun would do that to suyeon.
"she agreed , why you're being like this?" renjun asked , half-yelling.
jaemin sighed as he massage his temple.
"yeah , i shouldn't overreacting like this. i just , pity her." jaemin said as he finally sit beside jeno that has been quiet all the time. he didn't know how to chime in.
"do you pity her or you're actually falling in love with her" renjun asked as he lifted his right eyebrows.
"that's not it. why would i?" jaemin said again.
"by the way you act , i would think so too." jeno added.
"same , i would say the same." haechan agreed.
"suyeon...i used to like her." jaemin confessed.
"what? i thought you don't know her? you don't even know she is hyeri's friend." jisung that has been playing mobile game said. on the other hand , chenle is slowly dozed off , not interested with this conversation at all.
"about that , i really don't know that. you see, i don't really care about hyeri. we are not that close." jaemin said as he tried to avoid every single eye contact since his friends' attention are on him.
"so , is that why you're angry that i asked her to be my girlfriend? oh wait not really , it just a play." renjun asked in a very annoying way.
"i don't like her anymore." jaemin stated , feeling annoyed with renjun.
"really? then , stop the stupid behaviour of yours." renjun said , referring when jaemin was getting all mad about his decision. he walked out from the music room , leaving his friends.
in the room , jaemin sighed as renjun walked out.
"is it me but huang renjun is getting on my nerves more these days?" haechan who has been talking the least earlier , spoke up.
"he's getting more heartless day by day." jeno said.
"ah i don't know." jaemin said , frustrated.
"i can't understand why he's acting like he's better than us." haechan said.
"are we backbiting him right now?" jeno asked as he let out a small laugh , being fascinated at the situation.
"pretty much." haechan answered.
"oh where's renjun?" mark asked as he entered the music room.
"he left. they had some arguments." jeno said as he pointed at jaemin.
mark nodded , not asking anything.
"hyung , i have something to ask." jaemin asked.
mark looked at the younger one.
"what is it?" he asked as he smiled.
"is there something going on with renjun and doyoung hyung?" jaemin asked and that makes mark smile. the younger ones look at him , confused.
"do you really want to know? it's childish by the way." mark asked as he keep smiling , thinking on how childish is it.
"tell us." jaemin said , waiting for an answer.
