renjun stood in front of suyeon's class , waiting for her.
hyeri on the other side is asking suyeon to hurry up because she saw renjun waiting , but suyeon just gives her a cold stare which hyeri doesn't expect at all.
"what's with you?" hyeri asked.
"sorry. i'm not in mood." suyeon said and hyeri pouted.
"i hope you get better soon , i'm going first." hyeri tapped suyeon's shoulder and walked out.
she stopped in front of renjun.
"she's not in mood , don't make her mad." hyeri warned and renjun nodded slowly.
after that , suyeon walked out.
"i'll walk you home." renjun said as he smiled and suyeon just nodded without uttering any words.
both of them walked , knowing suyeon's mood , renjun not daring to say anything.
until suyeon decided to speak up.
"renjun , i have something to ask."
"what is it?"
"it's about seri."
renjun froze upon hearing seri's name.
"she told me about her situation. how do you think about that? she told me she wants to spend more time with you..-"
"suyeon , let's not talk about this." renjun said he looked away.
"but renjun.."
"suyeon , it's you and me. no one need to interfere us. stop thinking about seri. i don't know what she told you but just , don't think about her." renjun said as he took suyeon's hand.
"this is our story , isn't it?" he stared into suyeon's eyes and smiled.
suyeon pursed her lips into thin line and finally nodded.
"i'll make sure she doesn't cross paths with you again." renjun smiled and suyeon looked down.
"but , i pity her.."
"suyeon , she's not the one who deserve your kindness. you don't have to." renjun said and sighed.
"let's go." he pulled suyeon and walked.
while walking , both suyeon and renjun stayed silent. if renjun open his mouth , he's afraid seri's topic will resurface. suyeon don't want to say anything because she knows it won't work.
after the long walk without talking , they arrived.
"get some rest and don't think much about seri." renjun said and suyeon nodded.
"renjun , i'll wait."
"wait for what?" renjun asked , confused.
"till the day you decide to open up with me." suyeon said as she smiled bitterly.
renjun pursed his lips into a thin line.
"that day will come. don't worry." he assured.
after bidding goodbye , renjun walked away and suyeon entered her house.
suyeon halted as she saw her parents and doyoung in living room. doyoung still in his uniform.
"you're here. take your seat." her dad said.
and this point , she knows this is important.
suyeon walked slowly and take her seat beside doyoung.
