i arrived at the park , i looked up as i heard the thunder. it will rain , oh god i'm in trouble. maybe i shouldn't ask suyeon out after all.
i sat down on the bench , waiting for her nervously. i saw a drop of rain dropped on my hand. my heart is beating faster. ah why now?
"renjun?"
i turned around , it was seri. she's cover my head with the umbrella that she hold as she sat down as well.
"what are you doing here?" i asked her.
"i came with mark. for a walk." she said.
oh , she's close with mark i forgot about that.
"what are you doing here in this weather? it's pouring already." she asked , the worry is visible on her face.
"i came to see someone. where's mark?" i asked as i didn't see mark around.
"he's back already. i'm on the way home."
i nodded.
"seri you should go..-"
'thud.'
i turned around as i heard something fell down.
it was suyeon , she dropped her umbrella.
"s-suyeon.."
before i can say anything , she ran off.
wait , why would she?
being scared of rain , i wasn't able to move. i couldn't do anything but to watch her run away.
"is it suyeon? the one you want to meet?" seri asked and i nodded.
"do you like her?"
"can you help me? i want to go home." i said , ignoring her question completely.
"look at you changing the topic , alright. let's go." she said as she chuckled.
we walked together.
"so , why do you think she ran off?" she asked.
i looked down , i'm confused and uncomfortable of this weather.
"how do i know..?" i trailed off.
"this is my instinct , i think she's interested in you." she said , i don't give a respond.
"and i think you feel the same." she added.
i couldn't say anything , maybe she was right.
"you know , i don't care about it. you can be together with her." she said again.
"i'm with you right now. let's not talk about someone else." i said , i feel bad talking about suyeon when i'm with seri.
"okay then." she said as she shrugged her shoulders.
we arrived in front of my house.
"make sure you take some rest." she said.
"you too. i don't like the fact you're out in this weather." i said as sighed.
"alright. it was my fault. see you at school." she said as she waved.
i nodded as i waved back.
i sat on my couch. i closed my eyes the tightly as i felt my head spinning.
suyeon's face when she left earlier flashed in my mind.
what exactly she think when she saw me? why she need to run away?
