LUCA'S POINT OF VIEW
I stormed outside, the bright sun flashing in my eyes and I looked over at the garage. It was now open and my SUV was gone. I let out a hiss of anger reminding myself to lock that damned garage next time.
I stepped out further into the driveway, noticing that she had sped off down the driveway towards the gate. My stomach lurched and I noticed that my men were piling into the cars and speeding off after her.
I stormed up to Vincent, who was in one of the other SUV's. His eyes were trained on me and he gave me a curt nod, signalling for me to get in.
I ran around to the passenger side of the door and jumped inside, feeling another rush of fear come into my body. "Go! No!" I yelled at him. The car took off with a lunge forward and we sped down the long road.
Vincent's bright hair shined in the light and his eyes were fixed on the road. He gripped the steering wheel tight, causing his knuckles to turn white. I gave him a confused look, tilting my head to the side.
"Why are you so pissed?" I asked, feeling confused. I really didn't think he cared about what happened to Emily. I was pretty sure he dumped her on my feet once she was too much to handle for him.
"I was in the middle of fucking some bitch, when you called for us to go look for her." He growled in annoyance.
I flashed him a smile, "There will be plenty of others." I grinned as we continued to speed down the road. The engine roared and left a wave of dust behind us. I wasn't going to let her get past that gate. I would crash this car into her before she got very far. I didn't care. I needed her back.
My eyes flashed forward, finally catching up to Emily. I sat up further in my seat, noticing that she had begun to lose control of the car. Gun shots echoed in my ear and I felt my stomach drop. Had they shot her? Fucking idiots, I was going to kill them.
The car swerved hard to the side of the road and onto the grass. I felt my eyes widen further when the SUV collided with a large tree near the front of the gate. The sound of metal on metal filled my ears and made me cringe.
"Stop the fucking car." I growled, feeling a sudden rush of urgency fill up my body.
Vincent slammed on the brakes and I jumped out of the passenger side. My feet hit the hard pavement and I rushed over to the car to see her. I silently prayed that she was alive. My hard eyes flicked over to the men who were standing by the gate, their guns now at their sides. The smell of gun powder filled my nose and I quickly adverted my eyes. I would take care of them later.
I stalked towards the car, finding that it was completely mangled and never drivable again. The front end was completely smashed into the large bark of the tree, almost unrecognizable. Another flood of worry washed through my body, and I hadn't realized I was shaking until now.
The car door of Vincent's vehicle slammed closed, and I heard him step out. His footsteps followed me as I approached the driver side door.
The window was shattered and it was impossible to see anything.
I inhaled a sharp breath and ripped open the door with all my strength. I cracked open with a pop and I stood in the doorway. My eyes filled up with the sight of Emily mangled in the leather seat. Her forehead was dripping blood, and so was her nose. I noticed that her bicep was gushing blood, and the car was filled with the smell of blood.
Her head lolled to the side and her eyes flicked up to mine. I held my stern look, attempting not to show any concern, but I could feel it creeping onto my face and pulled at my features.
