His Possession

Epilogue:

Emily's hair swished around in the sun as she ran after little Elizabeth. She was screaming with joy as she jumped and galloped through the grass in Luca's garden. Her hair was the same as her mothers, and she had Luca's eyes.

Luca and little Aldo were sitting down in the grass, enjoying the fresh fruit Luca had arranged on the small blanket of their picnic. He glared at his younger sister as she screamed and ran away from Emily. Luca noticed this, and ruffled his sons brown hair, causing him to scowl harder and jerk away. He was much like his father.

Emily scooped Elizabeth up into her arms and planted a million kisses on her daughters cheeks and head, causing an eruption of giggles to fly out of the girl's mouth. She squirmed in her arms as Emily brought her over to the blanket, plopping her down at sitting beside Luca.

"She's got your spirit." Luca bent down and placed a small peck on Elizabeth's cheek, causing her to swat away his face and giggle more.

"Daddy!" She cried. "Stop it!" She was only five, and she was already starting to become more and more like her mother, Luca thought to himself as he scooped her up into his arms and held her close to his chest.

"And Aldo has your attitude." She winked towards Elizabeth's older brother who was only nine, but he was definitely showing signs of being similar to Luca. He was always very deadpan, and scowling at his younger sister. Although, he had a beautiful soft side.

Luca sent Emily a gaze, "He's almost a man, now." Luca sent his son a look, which caused Aldo to frown.

"I am a man!" He cried out like the child he was, scolding his father.

Elizabeth giggled, "You're only nine." She teased and Aldo narrowed his eyes at Elizabeth darkly.

Emily quickly pulled her son closer to her, "Don't be in such a rush to grow up, Aldo." She kissed the top of his head and he cuddled closer to her. "You will be grown soon, and you will wish you were young again." She said softly, holding him closer as he wrapped his small arms around her.

"Let's eat, shall we?" Luca said, plopping Elizabeth beside him as she frowned being away from her father's arms for a moment, as Luca began pulling out all sorts of foods and such. He pulled out the food for the children, and began pouring Emily and himself glasses of wine.

Elizabeth reached for the wine and Emily quickly tugged it away and sent her a look, "Not for you, sweetheart." She scolded and held the glass higher than she could reach. Elizabeth pouted and reached for it once more.

"Please!" She cried and Luca laughed.

"She's Italian, I was drinking wine by the time I was Aldo's age." Luca looked over at Emily lazily.

Aldo suddenly perked up, "Does that mean I'm allowed to have some?"

Emily quickly cut Luca off, "No, not yet Aldo." She shook her head, causing him to roll his eyes and pout.

"One sip won't hurt them." Luca urged and she wanted to tackle Luca right then and there, scolding him for allowing their children to drink wine at this age.

"Fine, but you won't like it." She tipped the glass towards Elizabeth and Luca tipped his towards Aldo. They both sipped at the wine, and Elizabeth made a strangled noise and pushed the glass away. Aldo did the same.

"Blah! I'm never drinking that stuff!" She cried and wiped her mouth furiously.

Aldo tried to contain his distaste for the liquid, forcing a small crooked smile. Emily cocked her head to the side and pushed her glass towards him, causing his smile to falter and him to push the glass away. "That's what I thought." She laughed and sipped at her glass.

The four of them enjoyed their time in the sun. They had much more time since Luca had stopped working with the Italian Mafia. He had passed the torch onto Tyler, who was now the leader. He wanted to focus on his children, and Emily. That was most important to him now.

They now resided in a beautiful mansion by the ocean, which Emily loved.

It was quiet and peaceful. All of them were able to live happily ever after now.
