My eyes frantically searching the large empty lot for Luca's car, but I didn't see it. Maybe we were early? I tried to think positive, not wanting to believe anything else. Luca would show up. I know he will. I leaned up against the Beemer, allowing Marco and Damon to talk amongst themselves alone. I couldn't understand it anyways, since they were speaking in Italian.

Occasionally, their eyes would flick over to me, but nothing more. It irritated me, but I wasn't about to start a scene in front of them. I didn't need more drama today, I just needed everything to go good for when Luca got here.

"How are you feeling?" Jacob asked from beside me, causing me to look over at him.

"Nervous." I said truthfully, fiddling with my hands now and causing him to nod.

"Everything will be okay." He gave me a reassuring look and wondered over to Damon and Marco, joining their conversation now. I watched as they talked to each other, laughing and making jokes.

I rolled my eyes and turned away from them, leaning on my side now and looking down the dirt path we had entered through. I was hoping to see Luca drive down there at any second now; but as minutes passed, I didn't see him.

"Hello Emily," I heard Marco's voice call out to me and the sound of gravel crunching beneath his weight. "how are you doing? Feeling well?" He mocked and I turned towards him, sending him a fake smile. His eyes scanned down my body and he let a smirk grow onto his lips. "I see Damon has left his mark on you. That should scar up pretty nicely." He laughed when I didn't answer him.

I crossed my arms over my chest in annoyance, "I can give you one too if you want? Instead of a 'D' for Damon, it'll say 'douche'. How about that?" I mocked back, watching his eyes harden and his jaw to click. His non-verbal reaction made to continue, "Or maybe 'twat'?" I pushed off the car and stood closer to him, narrowing my eyes up at him.

Marco cocked his head to the side and stepped closer to me, pressing his chest against mine and pushing me back lightly. "I'll give you something to remember me by." He hissed as my back hit the warm car. I didn't flinch though, as his threats didn't scare me anymore.

"Why should I believe anything you say? Rat." I retorted.

Marco let out a snarl and placed his hands onto my shoulders, pushing me harder against the car. "I oughta..."

"Marco, enough." Damon was suddenly walking towards us, his sunglasses were now in his hands and his eyes squinted towards us. I watched Marco as he pushed off me harder than needed and backed up, his eyes still on me. "You know how she is, don't let her provoke you." Damon rubbed his eyes, looking over to me. "And you, behave yourself." He said towards me. I didn't nod or respond to him, only turning away from them.

"I don't know how you haven't killed her yet." Marco grumbled in a low tone.

Damon didn't answer, he only followed my eyes towards the dirt road, hearing the noise of an engine roaring towards us. I perked up and went to step forward, only to be grabbed by my arm and yanked back. "Hey!" I cried and tried to pry Damon's hands off me, earning a sharp glare.

"You stay by my side, remember?" He said harshly, bending towards my ear.

I cocked my head slightly towards him while my eyes were still watching as Luca's SUV made a complete stop near us. I fiddled my hands in anticipation and watched with widen eyes.  Luca stepped out of his car and sauntered towards us, his eyes watching me the entire time. I wanted to run towards him, but my feet refused to move and I didn't want Damon to do anything stupid.

I scanned my eyes over him, noticing that he was wearing a black on black suit. He looked so damn good, besides the bags beneath his eyes that told me he hasn't been sleeping properly.
