Jacob gave me a harsh shove into Damon's house and I gulped hard. My bare feet hit the tile and I shuddered again, glancing around. It was similar to Luca's but it didn't have nearly as big as an entrance. The entrance had few tables with plain decor on them, but nothing else important. It spilt up into two halls, both leading in opposite directions. I didn't want to know what was down either of them, but I didn't have a choice.
I tried to plant my feet against the floor to slow our pace, but Jacob shoved me forward.
"Are you taking her to Damon?" I heard Aldo ask from behind me, and my body locked up painfully at his oozing words. I didn't want to see Damon. I wanted to get out of here. Now.
"Yes." He replied plainly to Aldo, who averted his eyes from mine. Jacob shoved me down a long hallway. We passed by several doors, all of which were white. I felt my heart flutter against my chest and I wanted nothing more than to run and hide. I didn't want to be near Damon again, I didn't have the protection of Luca this time. My thoughts raced and none of them were very bright. I wasn't about to try and attack these two guys, I would end up getting overpowered or killed.
"How about you just take me back to Luca's? I'm sure he's getting really mad by now." I tried to reason with them, and throw in a little threat of Luca's power. I knew he would come for me. But how long would it take? Would I even last in this place? I doubted it. Damon didn't seem like the type to be very lenient, unlike like Luca sometimes.
Jacob snorted, "Why don't you just keep your trap shut before I rip out your tongue, Pimpi? How does that sound to you?" His voice dripped with malice and I felt my chest constrict at his threat. (short for princess).
I clamped my mouth shut and allowed them to shove me towards a large set of black double doors, again similar to Luca's, but much darker. Something told me that I didn't want to see what was behind those doors. I wanted to flee, to be back in Luca's strong arms and under his protection.
My heart thumped in fear against my ribs, but I couldn't go anywhere. Jacob held my biceps tightly, probably ripping out my stitches as well. I was like a bird, and he was trapping my flight.
My feet skidded to a stop and I shook my head, "No." I tried to push back against Jacob, but he only groaned and shoved me harder, making me to trip over my feet and smash into the doors. They popped open from my weight and I found myself stumbling into the office. I landed on all fours, and looked at the tile floor beneath me. Not daring to look up.
"Ah, hello there, Principessa." I heard Damon's voice ooze out in front of me, causing my eyes to snap upright and my back to straighten up tall. Be strong, Em. Be strong. Don't show him any weakness. "As graceful as always." He laughed softly.
"Hi, asshole." I spat and gave him a fake friendly smile.
Damon stood up from his chair, but not in a threatening manner, I still cringed back onto my ass. He gestured of to the white leather chair in front of his dark mahogany desk. His brows were pulled up in slight surprise, but he smiled. "Sit now, Emily. We have lots to discuss." His smile twisted up further, exposing his sparkly white smile.
"Maybe I don't want to talk. Maybe I want to go back to Luca." I responded casually and crossed my arms over my chest protectively, causing Damon to flick his gaze over to Jacob who was still standing behind me.
I felt his presence bend down and his hand on my shoulder. Before I could slap his hand away, he gripped my skin hard so hard that a red flash of pain to erupted against my skin. He then suddenly lifted me off the floor and shoved me onto the chair. My ass hit the cool leather and I craned my head over to him and snarled at him, "Thanks, Dog." I mustered up all the venom I had and spat it at him with those words. He seemed to consider me, but instead of saying anything, he flashed me a smirk. His reaction made me even more mad. Why was he so collected now? Was it because of Damon?
