LUCA'S POINT OF VIEW:

"Have you heard anything else from Damon?" I heard Tyler say as he poked his head into my office, where I had been for a day now.

I rubbed my eyes groggily and shook my head. "No. Nothing yet." I hissed and rested my palms on my desk as I stood behind it, feeling a surge of worry run through my body.

"You should rest, I will stay here and let you know if anything happens." Tyler tried to reason with me but I quickly shook my head at him.

"No." I said blandly, feeling upset that he would even ask such a question. I wasn't going to rest until I found her. What good would it do? What am I going to do, sleep in my own bed while she slept god knows where? No. I wasn't going to do that.

"Well... At least eat something." I shrugged carelessly.

"Not really hungry." I heard Tyler's footsteps come towards me and I flashed my eyes up to him, his hand was raised and he slapped me across the face, making me hiss in pain. I turned back head back towards him and he stepped back cautiously.

"Snap out of it, Luca! Did we not just talk about this? We will find her, and we will get Damon. But what good will it do for you if you don't eat or sleep? You need your strength! You need to show Emily some confidence!" He yelled and I let out a heavy sigh while holding my cheek to numb the stinging.

If I didn't feel so defeated I would've hit him back.

"So what will I do? Stuff my face, sleep in my own bed while Emily is God knows where and going through hell? What good will that do me?" I hissed back, feeling the anger in my stomach and the fear in my voice crack through.

Tyler shifted around, "You need your strength, like I've said. If you give up, so will she." He responded casually and locked his green eyes onto mine. "You need to eat and sleep. Please." He begged suddenly, causing me to look up at him harder.

"Fine." I gritted and began walking towards the door. Guilt was already eating me up and I didn't want to leave this office. I didn't want to leave my phone or the computer. I needed to know what was going on. I hadn't even heard from my father in awhile, which concerned me. What was he up to? Was he involved in this? I brushed off the thought and paused at the door, remembering what Tyler had told me last night before he left my office. "How is Julie? You told me last night that she was recovering very well?" I turned back towards him as he sat down in my chair.

He gave me a nod, "She's almost fully recovered. What did you want to be done with her?" He asked slowly, watching me for a reaction.

I pondered a few thoughts, thinking of what I could do with her before coming up with an answer. "Emily wanted her to get out of here, and that's what I'm going to do." I responded with a nod and watched Tyler's eyes brighten.

"What if she goes to the police?" He asked dumbly.

I ran my hand through my hair, "All of the police here are basically bought off, if we have an issue money should fix the problem. For now, I want to speak with her before she leaves. Also, prepare a hotel room for her now in The Grand, I don't want her wandering the streets." Tyler nodded in affirmation and then sent me a look.

"Why don't you sleep first, and then talk to her tomorrow morning. Last I saw her she was taking some meds to help her sleep, you should do the same." He pointed and I gave a gruff sound that sounded like agreement. "It's a good idea to let her go. You're really changing, aren't ya?" He chuckled lightly and I flashed him a dark look before opening the door.

"Don't push it." I stepped out of the office and made my way slowly over to my bedroom for some much needed rest.
