Sonic PoV:

It was dark. I heard a doctor talking to a nurse. I was at... The hospital?

'w-what happened?'

They completely ignored me.

'hey! Are you listening?! What happened?!'

I tried to move, but I couldn't. I realized that if he didn't hear me is because I didn't talk. I was just thinking.

I couldn't do anything except listening.

The doctor and the nurse get out, leaving me alone for long minutes.

Someone suddenly burst into my room. The unknown person sat next to me and started to cry and kept repeating.

"it's my fault....it's my fault....it's my fault...."

Shadow? Shadow it's you?!

Wait.... You're the one who put me in this state.... But why?
Why did you stabbed me?!

Time pasted, à nurse came in for Shadow.

"-sir, the visits are finished...
-please... Let me stay with him...
-I'm sorry but we can't let you here..."

Shadow was hugging me tightly but I felt that he was resisting to someone

The nurse called the security and security guards took him away from me while Shadow was screaming. Suddenly a thunder began.

Shadow was now completely silent.

"no! NO!! HE'S GOING TO KILL HIM!! I HAVE TO STAY WITH HIM!! LET ME GO!!"

K-kill me...? But who?! Shadow? Shadow?!!

The room became silent again. I was stressed and tried to struggle.

Suddenly someone burst into my room once again.

"Mephiles!!"

M-Mephiles?! He was the one who wanted to kill me?!

"It's nice to see you again Shadow..."

They started to fight but without chaos energy. I didn't know who was winning, I was only hearing that one was hitting the other and one was being choke.

Silence came back again for a second until a loud scream started and faid away. Cries filled the room.

'Shadow...? Is it you? Where is Mephiles? Shadow? Shadow?!'

"SHADOW!"

My eyes wide open, I could move again and talk.

I looked in my room to see Shadow, curled up in a ball in a corner, crying.

"-Sweetheart....?
-Sonic....?!"

He looked up at me, his face has injuries everywhere and his neck was purple because of a strangling.

He get up and jumped in my arms.

"it was Mephiles! He tried to kill you!! I was so scared and worried about you!! I made a terrible mistake two months ago! I still love you!!
-don't cry Sweetheart... Everything is going to be okay now... I'm here....And you're okay, it's the most important..."

I hugged him tightly, trying to comfort him but it just ended up by both of us crying. Shadow was crying because he was scared. And I was crying because he loved me again...

We got interrupted when a doctor came in.

"-wow, I wasn't expecting that you would wake so fast!
-I'm not the fastest thing alive for nothing!
-yeah I understand that but you need rest and your friend has to go."

Shadow kissed me and whispered.

"I'll be back tomorrow..."

I kissed him before letting him go out of the room. I fell asleep, I large smile on my face.
