Chapter 23

Shadow PoV:

"-what if your rapist.... Was me?"

I froze.

How could he say that?!

"-why would you say that!!?? You're not him!! We promised to never hurt each other again!! I know you would never do this to anyone!! "

I burst into tears.

"-I'm sorry Shadow... I shouldn't have to talk about this...
-*whisper*you promised.....
-I know Sweetheart... "

He hugged me and rubbed my back.

He stayed some hours on the couch, just watching some movies before going to the restaurant.
Sonic went to his house some minutes ago for preparing himself.I did the same.

I was wearing a red shirt and a black pants.

After some minutes, I get surprised when I saw Sonic in the living room, wearing dark blue jacket and pants, a white shirt and a green tie. I laughed a little when I saw that he wasn't comfortable with the collar of his shirt.

I went to him and removed two buttons and loosen the tie.

"-it will be better...
-thanks Sweetheart... "

He kissed me and we went to the restaurant.

The restaurant was so beautiful. Candles were all over the place, low lights gave a romantic atmosphere.

We sat on the table and ordered.The plate was so good!

I wasn't so relaxed since days!

I saw Sonic looking at me, smiling. I smiled back. But he suddenly held his head.
"-Sonic? You're okay?
-yes, don't worry! Just a headache! I-I'll be back!"
He got up and went to the bathroom.

When I was waiting for him I noticed a little box next to me.
On it was wrote "for my Sweetheart". I opened it.

There was a necklace with a golden chain and a little reddish galaxy inside a golden cage.

"-do you like it?"

I turned around to see Sonic smiling at me. It was like his headache was never here.

"-I love it Sonic. It's so beautiful..."

He kissed me and put the necklace around my neck.

After an hour, we get back home after that wonderful night. But Sonic started to shivered and looked around us.

Suddenly, Sonic's phone rang.
"-Sh-Shadow...?
-yes?
-h-here..."
He gave me keys.
"-it's the spare k-key of my appartement... I-I'll join there...
-Sonic are you okay....?!
-Y-yes! Don't worry! S-see you there!"

He ran out.

"Sonic wait!-"

But he was already gone. I started to look around me but all stores were closed.

"I'm scared....."

I goes quickly to Sonic's appartement but I completely froze when I heard a grunt. The same grunt. And saw the deep green eyes that were glowing in the dark night.

I ran fast, to much scared. I didn't want to go back in this hell again!

I finally get inside his appartement, closed the door and all windows and sat in a corner of the living room.
I started to cry, hugging my legs against my torso and calling my boyfriend's name over and over again.

I finally fell asleep in his living room, tears still falling of my eyes.
