Me and Darry were ready. We had the wedding in two months, we're starting a business, and we want kids.
Today my mom, Zoey, and I were going to shop for dresses. I found the perfect one instantly. I took one look and knew it was the right one.
I tried it on, I loved it. My mom burst out in tears and Zoey hugged me. "You look like an angel." "Thank Zoe."
We went up to the cashier and the dress was well under what I was planning to spend. It worked so well for us. We left to go home. Me and Dar were going to check out a new place for the business.
My mom pulled up to the house and I got out. "Thanks mom! I'll see you soon." She blew a kiss to me and drove off. I walked inside to see Darry basically bouncing off the wall of excitement. "Someone happy?" I asked. He turned nodded pretty quickly and smiled. "Well crazy boy, we don't have to leave for another two hours."
"I know, I'm just happy that's all." He came and wrapped his arms around my waist and I kissed him softly. "You're adorable when you're excited." He just chuckled. "So are you sunshine." He pulled me close and held me tight. "I miss snuggle time." Then I was lifted and next thing I knew we were in his chair cuddling.
He nuzzled his head in my neck and I played with his hair. We stayed like this until we had to leave. Just together. "Ready to go sunshine?" He picked me up and set me on the ground. "Yeah let's do this." We both smiled and walked hand in hand.
We showed up to a small little building. It definitely needed renovation but Darry enjoyed that and I'd be more than happy to help. It was also in our budget. It was perfect. Darry was running around like a little boy in a toy shop. He was imagining everything.
"I love how happy you are about this!" I said smiling. He ran and picked me up spinning me around. We signed the papers and decided to get everything we needed to start fixing it up tomorrow.
Darry stopped me before we left. "Sweetheart, I love you. And I just want to say thank you for helping me with all this. I'm going to spend my life with you because you are the best thing that's ever happened to me." I blushed and smiled at him. "Close your eyes baby." I did and I felt something cold around my neck.
I looked down to see a beautiful sunshine necklace. "Darrel, this is gorgeous. I love you too. You're my savior. I love you so damn much." His lips collided into mine and kissed me passionately. We pulled away and left the new shop.
