(Darrel's POV)

I grabbed Nolan who was sobbing uncontrollably. It broke my heart. My poor boy. He wanted Mack right away. I walked him down the hall holding him close. His breathing calmed and his cries went down.

I walked in the room to see Mack sleeping soundly. She looked tired. My poor girl. Nolan reached out for her to take him.
"Hey little buddy, mommy's sick, lets let her sleep okay?" He nodded but as soon as I tried to walk away from her he cried. "What's wrong buddy?" He pointed at Mack so I brought him back over.

He leaned down and kissed her head. I smiled so big. I got Nolan changed so I could bring him to work.  Pony had the day off from school so I had him and Johnny look after her.

Me and Nolan left to work. I got there and everyone wanted to stay with Nolan but I said on their breaks they could talk with Nolan. They all gave him fist bumps and high-fives.

(Mackenzie's POV)

I woke up to Darry and Nolan already gone. Pony and Johnny were out in the living room when I went to get water.

"How ya feeling?" Johnny asked.
"Much better, thanks johnnycakes!" He smiled and I got my water.
"Is it okay if me and Johnny head out to the Drive-in?" Pony asked.
"Sure guys, keep a blade on ya. And if you see Two or Dal take them with you. They can protect ya's." I said and they smiled.
"Thanks Mack!" They said in unison. They walked out and I went to bathroom.

I had a few pregnancy tests hidden in there just in case. Darry knew about them since we were trying to get pregnant. I took two just to be sure.

(Darrel's POV)

Nolan was having so much fun, but it was time to go home. "Ready to go see mama?" He jumped up and down. All the guys laughed at that so I picked him up. "Great work today guys! I'll see you tomorrow!" They all nodded and everyone left.

I got home and Mack was sitting on the couch. Nolan ran through the door and right into her lap.
"Hi baby!" She said as she kissed his face a few times.

"Feeling better sweetheart?" I asked her.
"Yes much better." She said with a smile. Nolan ran to his room to grab his dinosaur. I took this as the perfect moment to give her a sweet kiss. I grabbed her face softly and our lips collided.

We pulled apart to see Nolan laughing at us. Although he's three he's funny. I picked him up and all the boys walked in. Mack turned to Twobit.

"Hey Two, can you watch Nols for a sec?" He nodded and picked up Nolan. She grabbed my hand and pulled us to our room.

We walked in and she sat me on the bed. She looked at me with tears in her eyes. "Sweetheart what's wrong?" I asked.

She sighed. "...I took a pregnancy test today..." I got anxious.
"..Well..?" I said. She took one out and handed it to me. I looked down. Negative. I felt my heart drop.

"I-I...I was really hoping we could. I really want another kid."  I said a little sad. I looked up at Mack. She was crying.

"I know sweetie, I know." I said rubbing her arm. She looked up and smiled softly.

"Well I want one too...good thing huh?" She placed something in my hand and it took me a second to realize what it was. Another pregnancy test, positive.

I smiled so big and started crying. I picked Mack up and spun her around the room before proceeding to kiss her passionately. We were finally pregnant. I placed small kisses all over her face. We hugged for a while tears streaming down our faces.

"H-How?" I was at a loss for words.
"I took the first one, positive. The other one I just put water over it. I knew exactly how I would tell you." She smiled and I held her so tight to me.

My prayers have been answered. I grabbed her hand and we went to tell the gang.
