I woke up with Darry's arm on my waist and my head on his chest. He looked so happy. He was sleeping with a slight smile on his face. It felt so good to call him my husband!
I kissed his cheek then his temple, then left one on his nose. He shifted a little and stretched without moving me. "Sunshine?" He groaned. "Yeah?" I giggled at his attempt to open his eyes. "You missed a spot." He grabbed my face and kissed my lips gently. I giggled and felt him smile through the kiss.
He pulled away and looked at me smiling so bright. He pulled me back into him and held me. He started humming our song, so did I. He played with my hair gently.
"Do we have to get up?" I asked giving him a pouty lip. "No sunshine. The boys know to leave us alone today." He smiled and gave me another kiss.
"UHH DARRY?" Pony yelled towards the room. "Yeah little buddy?" Darry said back. "We need help out here!" Pony yelled back. Darry just groaned and threw on his jeans. I was in underwear so he gave me his black t-shirt and his sweatpants that I can tie. I usually have to roll and tie them.
He kissed my head. "So much for not getting up." He murmured and I laughed. He held my hand as we walked to the living room. We walked in and I gasped.
Steve had a bloody nose and Soda had a bruise across his cheek. I got an ice pack for Soda and Dar helped Stevie. I put the ice on Sodas face and he flinched but gave me a light smile.
"So who's gonna tell us what happened?" I asked. They looked at each other and nodded. "Well, this girl was getting jumped so we helped her out. That's why we got hurt." Soda said. I nodded. "Well it's good that you helped her." I said back making him smile again.
Me and Darry finished helping them and then all the boys went somewhere else. They all knew we left for the honeymoon today. We went back to the room and packed up things we would need. We'd only be 10 minutes away but still.
I packed swimsuits and other clothes. We had some food packed and blankets. We said bye to Pony and Soda. We got in the truck and headed towards the river.
We pulled up and Darry already had our little campsite made. "When did you find time to do this?" He just laughed at my remark. "I had the boys do it." I smiled and he kissed my hand.
We put everything where it would need to be. It was about 2 or 3 in the afternoon. Darry smiled at me before turning on the radio. He then pulled off his shirt and jeans. "Swimming?" He smiled at me. I nodded. I pulled off his shirt and the sweatpants. He picked me up and ran towards the water. "DARRY!" I laughed-screamed.
He pulled me into the water. It was cold but felt good against the hot weather. He swooped me into another kiss. "I love you sunshine." He kissed my forehead. "I love you too." I said leaning into him. Then out of nowhere he started a splash war.
"Curtis I told you I'll beat you!" I said throwing a giant wave. "Oh really now?" He said picking me up and dunking me under the water. He laughed and let me catch my breath before doing it again. He cradled me in his arms and carried me to the tent.
