Luke left me with the two guys, because he planned a date for Blaire and he does not want to be late.

That was like 5 hours ago and the sun is setting. The two teens are laying flat on their backs worn out. Both are supporting some sort of blue eye or burst lip. We finished a few minutes ago and we decided to sit and relax before they go home.

"So how is school, if you don't mind me asking?"

"It sucks. Lyla is still on her high horse and told everyone that you were lying and making stuff up for attention and that's why you haven't been to school." replies Mark, the new defender for the pack.

"Yeah, so many have like attempted to correct her, but she refuses to believe it. She's like a royal pain in the small toe," mumbles Lewis, the new attacker.

I shake my head.

"Guys, I meant how is it with your school work? Do you guys need any help or something"

Both Mark and Lewis share a look before chuckling nervously.

"Well we both are failing math and Lewis is failing History."

"That's fine, I'll tutor you guys. I have to get to know you both to actually trust you with big responsibility of protecting the pack, so if I can help you with anything, just ask. It can be any time and about anything."

They nod. I get up and help them get on their feet, both wincing a little as their muscles are definitely going to be numb from the pain.

"I'd recommend a nice ice cold bath and then immediately into a hot bed. Stretch as well to keep your muscles loose."

I turn to walk before Lewis asks me something.

"Alpha Alex, how does it feel to find your mate?"

I smile, gesturing for them to walk with me, which they do.

"Its the best feeling in the world," thinking of the moment I found out Brad and I were mates," its scary and exciting and it feels as if you are going to burst with nerves. Your senses leads you and you can't help but comply. You are walking into unknown territory for someone who is suppose to be your forever."

"Why did you say suppose to?" asks Mark.

"Some wolves cling to their romance before finding their mate, so when you find your mate, they can decline having you. You both will be free from the mate bond and you will either find another mate or never have a mate."

We stop at the front of the pack house. Mark and Lewis waves me good bye before they walk off to their homes. I sigh, contently and head inside the pack house, finding an Brad, holding a bunch of flowers.

"I had to apologise for everything that happened with Hunter. I was only thinking about me and not about you and that was stupid and I really don't want you to be mad or upset."

I hug Brad tightly, he wraps his arms around me. My heart feels fluttery and light as if its going to fly like a butterfly.

"I forgive you, Brad. None of us was ever in this situation and so we don't know how to handle it." He kisses my forehead and holds me tightly.

"I'll be nice, if there is a next time. Civil and nice. Maybe Hunter and I will become best friends. There are endless ways of how things will turn out."

That would be amazing if there were endless ways, but without a certain way, life as we know it would never be the same.

Brad pushes me away from him slightly, keeping me at arms length.

"I'm taking you on a date, right now. We are going on a pic-nic. If you want to, I laid out a dress on your bed, if you want to get changed."

"I think it's best if I change. Being sweaty and gross isn't very attractive."

I give him a quick kiss before running to my bedroom to put on my dress.
