quarante - deux!

Alexis P.O.V.

I woke up in my bed, alone. How did I get here? Where is Brad? Where is Hunter?

I move to get up, but my body is in such pain that I cannot move.

"Luke?" I croak out, I close my eyes as the sun outside is to bright. Luke opens my door and closes my curtain, he immediately sits next to me and takes my hand.

"Hey Lexi, how are you feeling?"

I open my eyes to look at him, he seems worried.

"I'm hurting. I cannot move." I say softly as speaking hurts as well, "where are they?"

"The are both outside, waiting for you to wake up."

"What happened?"

"Lexi, the wizard tried everything to figure out who your true mate was, that he literally drained your stamina and strength. He said it'll take a few hours for you to go back to normal. He suggest you sleep it off."

"Can they come in?"

"Both of them?"

I nod weakly, closing my eyes, not able to look at anything anymore. I feel Luke get off my bed and leave.

Soon two pairs of footsteps enter my room, Brad and Hunter, laying next to me, Hunter on my left and Brad on my right.

I sigh, and slowly fall asleep, Hunter and Brad taking my hands and placing a kiss on my knuckles.

It's dark when I wake up again. I sit up, not feeling pain anymore. Brad and Hunter isn't next to me anymore.

I get up and walk to the bathroom, in serious need for some water. I turn on the light, blinding myself momentarily, before turning the tap and drinking some water. Splashing some water on my face, I look at myself.

White hair, green eyes, two sets of marks, tanned skin, plump lips.

I blink a few times and inspect the marks on my neck, typical mating marks. How?

I touch it, feeling nothing. I run out of my room and towards the kitchen, or some place where people are so I know I'm not going crazy.

No one is in the pack house, so I run outside, finding Hunter and Brad sitting on the steps.

"Hunter. Brad." I say out of breath. They turn to look at me and stand up.

"What? What happened? Why do I have two mate markings?"

"Babe, calm down." Hunter says stretching his hand out for me to take. I take it and he leads me down the steps to sit between him and Brad.

"So," Brad begins, "the wizard tested us, a lot. Mostly using you as the source of power. We were anchoring you as he was literally killing you."

"We had to keep you alive," says Hunter.

"After several hours of draining you, he concluded that both of us are really truly your mates and that it is literally impossible to separate your feelings for us." Brad continues.

"You were out and Hunter carried you to your room, the wizard than told us how to help you and stuff."

"He then asked us to get to know each other and accept each other, because when you wake up the first time, we have to mark you." Says Hunter.

"So you are both my mates? For like life?"

They nod, almost in sync.

"We talked about how are we going to this," Brad says, "because Hunter is the born Alpha of the Moonsky pack, he can lead it, whilst you become Luna to both packs, and then when my father finally and fully steps down, we will merge the pack, making you the Alpha of the Moonway pack."

"That is if you accept the idea, it is only an idea though, we can always think of something else"

My eyes start to droop and I sway a little. My body giving out, Hunter catching me, before I fall off the steps.

"Its okay baby, we are here for you."
