QUARANTE!

Alexis P.O.V.

After the meeting, I'm just sitting and thinking through everything on the steps of the pack house, when suddenly a guard mind links that Brad is here.

I stand up to walk towards the line of trees, but a naked Brad comes out huffing. A guard hands him a towel and Brad puts it around his waist.

"We have to talk."

So I guess Brad just found out.

Brad is now dressed and walking up and down in my office. He hasn't said anything and I haven't asked anything. He sighs and runs his hand through his hair and sits down.

"Mind telling me what's going on?" I ask. He looks at me pained and sighs again.

"My father wants me to propose to you."

"I know, Kevin informed me." I say quietly, but Brad still hears it and just stares at me.

"I have to decided if I'm going to before the end of the week, otherwise my father will request that he proposes for me."

Now that is something I did not know.

"Look, I love you and I know you have a lot on your plate, but I needed to tell you."

My heart skips a beat and Brad realises what he said out loud. He smiles and scratches his head.

"Okay, yeah, I love you. As in, in love with you." He blushes and looks around. I'm at a loss for words. Someone loves me.

Luke knocks on the door, opening it a bit, he notices a shocked me and a blushing Brad.

"I heard Brad stop pacing, so I needed to check up on things, but then by accident I heard what Brad said and I needed to pop in to remind you, Alexis, that you are a moron."

He disappears, closing the door.

"He is right, I am a moron." Brad's happiness dwindles down a bit, I get up from my chair and sit in front of him, using my desk as my new chair.

"I'm a moron, because I love you too Olaf, as in, in love." I say, watching Brad's body inflate with happiness. He stands up and kisses me, trapping me between him and the  desk.

I wrap my arms around him, deepening the kiss, moaning slightly as he bites my lip. He picks me up and puts me my desk, moving stuff out of the way.

"I love you" he says kissing down my neck. I hum as he kisses the spot where my mark should be.

"I love you." He repeats, each time sending more shivers down my spine. He pecks my lips and looks into my eyes.

"I love you."

I smiles and cups his cheek, rubbing my thumb on the apple of his cheek.

"But does that mean you want to get engaged? I mean, knowing you love me and all, but the engagement still looms over us." He dares to ask.

"Tell your father, you have the engagement plan in the works, because when Kevin told me, he also informed me, he found a wizard who can help with the whole two mates situation."

"Wait, a wizard? Do you think they can really help?"

"We have to give it a shot, or else I'll string you and Hunter along. And as Luke told me, if the string snaps, I'll loose you both. So tomorrow come back, because then the wizard will be here to help."

Brad left 2 hours after our whole love confession. Still cannot believe I told him I love him.

I go to my room and change into some leisurewear. Now I have to find Hunter and ask him to come tomorrow.

I'm standing where I first stood when Hunter brought me to his pack. On luscious grass. Some members greet me and someone tells me where Hunter is and that is where I go.

I find Hunter, chopping some trees for some wood.

"Hey" I say, Hunter looking up at me, dropping the axe, missing his foot by an inch.

"What are you doing here?"

"I need you to come back tomorrow." He stands in front of me, putting his hand on my waist and pulling me in to kiss me deeply.

"You didn't kill my parents, love. One death was accidental and the other was because she was selfish. You didn't ruin my life." He says hugging me.

I smiles slightly, knowing that he doesn't blame me, but I still feel guilty. Hunter senses my unease to accept what he said and said something else to distract me.

"I'll be there tomorrow. Anything for you!"
