Brad P.O.V.

I stare out of my dad's office window, seeing Alexis leaving with Xander. I cannot believe she punched him because he tried to take a fruit.

My father strolls in, his reading glasses sliding off his nose, he sits in his chair and motions for me to take a seat in front of him. I sit and look at him, wondering why it is so important that Alexis needed to leave.

"I love Alpha Alex being here, and you and Peter absolutely adore her and love her here as well." He says looking at me.

"Yeah dad, she's my mate, whenever I'm around her I'm happy." I smile a little thinking about how we fell asleep yesterday.

"Your brother isn't her mate, and he loves her to bits. And through the grape vine I heard she was at training yesterday?"

"She was, Cathy asked me to train them, I didn't want to, but Alexis wanted to tagged along and I guess she was just curious."

"She helped them and almost beat you. Well that's what I heard" he chuckles a little at the idea that Alexis almost beat me.

"Well she didn't, we were actually even."

"Okay. The reason I called for you was, I mentioned something to Kevin, the head of the Moonsky's council and I told him that I would tell you."

What would my dad have said that I also need to know about it? Before he can continue, mom walks in, taking a seat next to me.

"You called?" She asks.

"I wanted you both to know at the same time. I told Kevin that maybe Brad and Alexis should get engaged. The pack loves her and welcomed her with open arms."

My mom's hand finds mine and gives it a squeeze. I'm too shocked to talk.

"Honey, you can't be serious? They are both so young and they need to get to know each other more." Mom says, coming up for me.

"I'm very serious, I would love to have Alexis as my daughter and run the pack alongside Brad. You saw the chemistry last night, Mere, they are in love!"

Are we in love? Am I in love? Do I love Alexis? I do.

"I do love her," I say out loud, my dad smiling as if he just won the war, "I do love her dad, but I'm not ready to get married."

Alexis definitely isn't ready, she cannot even choose between me or Hunter.

"That's okay son. You just have to propose, marriage can wait. You know, so people have been engaged longer than they have been married."

"Walen, that's enough. He said he isn't ready, so he isn't ready." Mom says.

"Even if he isn't going to propose, I am going to put in a formal request to propose for Brad."

"WHAT!" I push my chair backwards. How can my father even think about something like that!

"Brad, calm down. You have a week to think about it, before I put in the request."

I storm out the room, hurrying to get to the woods, and immediately shift into my wolf and I just run. I run towards Alexis. Because I need an escape. I need my escape.
