"You're drunk out of your mind." Johnny said, looking at his friend. After the fight with his father, Jaehyun had made his way to the mafia. As he entered, he took a bottle of whiskey from the shelf, downing it as fast as he could. He was soon lying on the couch of the common area, the empty bottle on the floor, slurring his words.
"Hyung, we have a deal tonight." Haechan called, poking his head into the room. He look at Jaehyun, who was in a drunken state.
"Tell Taeyong that Jaehyun's out for the night." Johnny told him. Haechan nodded, leaving the room. A moment later, Taeyong came in.
"It's a big deal, with Jaehyun out, I need you." Taeyong told Johnny. Johnny looked down at his friend.
"Send me to Jenna's." Jaehyun said, a weak smile on his face. Johnny exchanged looks with Taeyong before sighing.
...
"Hello?" Jenna said, picking up the phone. She looked at the time, knowing that Johnny was with the mafia tonight.
"Hey, are you busy tonight?" Johnny asked her.
"No, why?" Jenna replied, holding the phone against her ear as she sat up in her bed.
"Jaehyun's drunk and we have our hands full. Can you take care of him tonight?" Johnny said. Jenna sighed.
"Yeah, you can drop him off here." Jenna said, getting out of her bed.
"Okay, Jaemin will drop him off in a bit." Johnny said before hanging up the phone. Jenna went downstairs, taking a frozen pizza out of the freezer.
...
"Woah there." Jenna said as Jaemin moved Jaehyun from his shoulder to hers.
"I don't know, he was like this when I arrived." Jaemin told him. Jenna sighed before thanking the boy. Jenna dragged the body over to the living room, lying him on the couch.
"Why did you do this to yourself." Jenna said as Jaehyun lied on the couch, head resting in her lap. His eyes were half closed, small mumbles coming out of his mouth as he moved. She calmly ran her fingers through his hair, a movement she knew he enjoyed.
"I got into a fight with my dad." Jaehyun blurted out. Jenna patted his head, deciding not to ask more. Suddenly the oven timer rang, making Jaehyun pop up.
"I made pizza." Jenna said, helping him sit upright. Jaehyun flashed her a wide grin.
"That's my favourite." Jaehyun slurred out. Jenna had to admit, although Jaehyun was very drunk, with his hood on and messy hair, he seemed a kind of.... adorable.
"I know. I'll be right back." Jenna said, heading out to get the pizza. She soon returned, the pizza and a jug of water in her hands.
"Do you want to watch something?" Jenna asked him as she set the items down. She poured Jaehyun a glass of water, passing it to him. Jaehyun slowly nodded.
"Titanic?" They both said at the same time. Jenna chuckled as she turned on the TV. She grabbed a blanket, covering them both.
"You haven't changed one bit." Jenna said as she took a bite of her own slice of pizza. She heard Jaehyun chuckle.
"What do you mean?" Jaehyun asked her, clearly unable to focus on the movie. He opened his mouth, pointing to it. Jenna rolled her eyes before feeding him a bite.
"You're a baby when you're drunk." Jenna said as she watched Jaehyun slowly chew. When he finally swallowed he pizza, a grin grew on his face.
"More!" He said, full of aegyo. Jenna hid her smile as she held a cup of water.
"After a sip of water." Jenna said. Jaehyun took the cup in his hands, gulping down a sip before passing the cup back.
"Pizza now?" Jaehyun asked. Jenna fed him another bite.
"Mmmmm, so good." Jaehyun sang, satisfied. Jenna continued to feed him water and pizza while the movie played in the background. She notice Jaehyun slowly begin to sober up, as he stopped asking to be fed, holding the pizza himself instead.
"This is good." Jaehyun said, finishing the last slice. He patted his stomach satisfied. His eyes were slits as he leaned back into the couch.
"Tired?" Jenna asked as she shut the movie off. Jaehyun nodded, turning to face her. Jenna quickly returned the empty dishes to the kitchen before guiding Jaehyun to her room. She settled him in her bed, tucking him in. She turned to leave but Jaehyun's voice stopped her.
"Stay with me tonight." Jaehyun called out. Jenna hesitated before turning back. Jaehyun reached out, pulling her onto the bed.
"Okay, okay, I'll come." Jenna said, slipping under the covers. Jaehyun wrapped his arms around her, pulling her closer to him.
"You're warm." He cooed as he rubbed his face into her hair. "And smell good too." Jaehyun said. Although he was now sober enough to move on his own, Jenna could still smell the alcohol from his breath.
"What am I going to do with you." Jenna said, giving up as she got comfortable in his arms. She didn't realize how close she was until she turned to face him, inches away from his face.
"I never stopped liking you." Jaehyun suddenly confessed. Jenna's eyes widened in surprise.
"I thought I did. For a while. But when I saw you again, all the feelings and emotions came running back." Jaehyun continued. He brought his hand up, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.
"Jae," Jenna started but Jaehyun hushed her.
"You don't have to say anything." Jaehyun said, closing his eyes. Jenna pondered for a moment, seeing the male in his peaceful state. As he held her there in his arms, Jenna realized how much she had missed being there. She looked down at Jaehyun before bringing her face closer to his, surprising him with the sudden connection between their lips.
Jaehyun's hands travelled down her body, landing on her waist as he pulled her closer. Jenna arms found themselves around Jaehyun's neck, fingers tangled in his hair. Jaehyun held her as he rolled onto his back, allowing Jenna to straddle him as their kiss deepened. They moved to a familiar rhythm, their bodies remembering the connection they shared years before.
"Jenna," Jaehyun softly said as they slowly broke the kiss. Jenna rested her head on his chest, hiding her face as Jaehyun ran his fingers through her hair.
"I missed this."
