"Don't you have work?" Jenna asked as she watched Jaehyun stroll into her office, holding a bag of take out food. Jaehyun shrugged setting the bag on the coffee table in between the couches.
"I'm on lunch break." Jaehyun told her. Jenna got up from her desk to sit across from him.
"And you came here?" Jenna asked him as he opened the bag, spreading the food out.
"I wanted to spend my lunch with you." Jaehyun said, passing her a pair of chopsticks. Jenna gave him a small smile, taking the chopsticks in her hands.
"You like Thai right?"
...
"You've been slacking." Taeyong said as Jaehyun entered the mansion, duffle bag over his shoulder.
"I've been busy." Jaehyun said, making his way up the marble stairs. Taeyong followed him.
"So I've heard." Taeyong said, leaning on the doorframe as Jaehyun settled his bag in one of the bed rooms.
"How did you know?" Jaehyun asked him, exiting the room.
"Word spreads quick. You would know if you weren't so busy avoiding your fiancé and flirting with Johnny's sister." Taeyong said as the two made their way down the stairs.
"Hyung, I don't even like her." Jaehyun said, running his fingers through his hair.
"I can't help you with that." Taeyong said as they entered the meeting room. They took their seats at the end of the table.
"I think it's time for us to ink our three newest members." Taeyong said, smiling at Xiaojun, Hendery, and Yangyang. Cheers and applause erupted from the group as they prepared for the ritual.
...
"Why are we going here?" Jenna asked Johnny.
"Jaehyun told me you're interested in our initiation ceremony." Johnny replied, parking the car. Jenna shrugged her shoulders.
"You're doing it tonight?" She asked. Johnny nodded. The Seo siblings made their to the ground floor, where Renjun had set up his station, Xiaojun lying on the couch, shirtless.
"You're here." Taeyong said as he watched the girl entered. Jenna bowed to him.
"He's over there." Taeyong said, pointing to a male watching the process. Jenna smiled, making her way over.
"You made it." Jaehyun said, putting his arm around the girl. Jenna smiled, leaning into him.
"Does it hurt?" Jenna asked him.
"Depends on who you are. Jisung cried like a baby." Jaehyun told her. Jenna's eyes widened.
"Jisung has the tattoo?" Jenna asked. Jaehyun nodded, calling the young boy over. Jisung looked at Jaehyun for a second before walking towards him. Jaehyun reached out, quickly pulling Jisung's shirt up, surprising both of them. Jisung quickly pulled it back down but it was enough time for Jenna to clearly see the tattoo.
"Hyung, what was that for?" Jisung said, pouting.
"She didn't believe me." Jaehyun said, ruffling Jisung's hair. Jisung shot the two of them a glare before making his way back to Chenle. An applause erupted from the group. Jenna turned her attention back down to Xiaojun, who had finished, his spot being replaced by Hendery.
"Yangyang's shaking." Jaehyun pointed out. Jenna looked over to see Kun reassuring the male, who was visibly nervous.
"Renjun's good." Jenna said. Jaehyun nodded.
"The boy has golden hands, what can I say." Jaehyun said, wrapping his arms around her. Jenna felt her ears turn red at the sudden closeness. Renjun soon finished Hendery, Yangyang being next.
"I'll try to make it quick." Renjun told the boy as he took off his shirt. Yangyang gulped, staring at the ceiling as Renjun began. Jenna watched Renjun's fingers move quickly, trying to finish the tattoo as fast as possible without messing up. Soon he was finished, and the mafia clapped for their new members.
"Welcome to NCT boys." Taeyong called out, proudly clapping his hands together.
...
"These photos look good." Johnny told Mark as the three of them sat in the meeting room. Taeil had sent a copy of the magazine Vogue wanted to publish, filled with pictures from last week's shoot.
"I agree, I like them." Jenna said, flipping through.
"Once we send in the approval, Taeil's going to send them to get published." Mark told them. Jenna flipped the page, revealing a picture of her and Jaehyun.
"Oh, steamy." Johnny said, chuckling as Jenna slapped his arm.
"You make everything dirty." Jenna said. Johnny shrugged his shoulders, acting innocent. Mark giggled as he watched the siblings bickering.
"I think they're good for distribution." Jenna said to Mark, closing the magazine.
"I agree, you have approval from me as well." Johnny said as Jenna passed the magazine to Mark.
"Great, I'll let Taeil know then." Mark said excusing himself from the room, leaving the Seo siblings alone. Jenna quickly gathered her things.
"I'm going out with Jaehyun for lunch, I'll be back by 1." Jenna told him. She paused as she reached the door, noticing that Johnny hadn't moved.
"Johnny?" Jenna said, waving her hand in front of her brother's face.
"Jenna." Johnny said, turning to face her.
"What?" Jenna asked.
"Do you like Jaehyun?" Johnny suddenly asked.
"I don't know." Jenna confessed. Johnny opened his mouth, but closed it, unable to find the right words.
"Just... be careful." Johnny slowly said to her.
...
"You came." Inhye said as Jaehyun walked through the doors of the apartment.
"I'm just here to get some clothes." Jaehyun said, setting the keys on the counter as he headed straight to the master bedroom.
"The invitations were sent out this morning." Inhye told him as he walked out with a full duffel bag.
"Invitations for what?" Jaehyun asked her.
"Our engagement party."
...
Jenna set the gold envelope down on the counter, hand clenched over her stomach. She felt like throwing up.
"Are you okay?" Johnny said, quickly rushing to her side to steady her. He guided his sister to the stool. Jenna shook her head.
"What is it?" Johnny asked her. Jenna eyes motioned to the gold envelope on the counter. Johnny picked it up, opening it and reading the contents. He sighed as he put the invitation down.
"Did you know?" Jenna asked him, her voice breaking as tears began rolling down her face.
