"Where are you going?" Inhye asked from the couch as Jaehyun exited their room, back in his casual clothes.
"I'll be gone for the night, so you can invite that model." Jaehyun responded, carrying his duffel bag as he left the apartment they shared, Inhye's mouth wide opened.
Jaehyun knew that Inhye had someone over when he wasn't in the home, which was every single night. Jaehyun had seen his razor in the washroom, his shirts lying on their bed, his phone charger beside the bed every time he went to pick up his stuff. Honestly, Jaehyun had no right to complain, considering the fact he spent his nights with NCT or Jenna.
Tonight was one of those nights where he would be the secret underboss he was, as he drove off into the night. He decided to make a stop at Jenna's house before making his way to the mansion.
"What are you doing tonight?" Jenna asked as Jaehyun sat across from her at their dinning table sipping the cup of tea she had prepared for him. Johnny was already preparing with the boys and Jaehyun had to join then soon.
"Just a regular drug deal, nothing too dangerous." Jaehyun replied. He could tell Jenna was nervous for him so he reach out and gave her hand a small squeeze before getting up.
"Stay safe, alright?" Jenna said to him as she got up to follow him. Jaehyun gave her a smile as he made his way to door.
"I will, don't worry about me." Jaehyun replied, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. He leaned in and gave Jenna a soft kiss before leaving her house.
...
"I sent in the case." Jaemin said as he crossed his arms, watching Jaehyun enter the mansion. Jaemin followed the older male as he made his way through the various rooms.
"Who's your prosecuter?" Jaehyun asked, stopping as he picked up a pistol, tucking it into the inside of his jacket.
"Kun." Jaemin replied. Jaehyun nodded in approval. The one thing that helped NCT stay afloat was the fact that their members worked in essentially every sector. They even had Lucas, who was a police officer for the city.
"That's good." Jaehyun replied, before making his way down to the parking lot, where Jaemin's car waited for them.
...
"Is he dead?" Jaemin asked as they watched Renjun work on his graffiti, a limp body beside him. Jaehyun shook his head.
"Only unconscious." Jaehyun replied as he took off the mask he wore. "He won't be able to remember what any of us look like."
Jaemin slowly nodded as Renjun gave them a look, signalling that he was done. He followed Jaehyun to the car, the two of the taking the two seats in the front.
"We dealt with the idiot that tried to run away." Jaehyun said into the radio as Jaemin started the car. Taeyong quickly responded to them.
"Good, everyone can head back now." Taeyong instructed them. Jaehyun watched as Jaemin steered the car towards the mansion.
The drug deal was going perfectly, until one of the dealer's men decided that they wanted to run away with money. Luckily, Jaehyun and Jaemin were stationed outside and quickly caught the male before he had gotten too far.
Jaemin parked the car, following Jaehyun back into the mansion. Kun was waiting inside for the two of them.
"Jaehyun, are you sure you want to do this?" Kun asked, referring to the case they were about to open.
"Positive." Jaehyun replied. Kun looked at Jaemin in the eyes.
"Okay, Jaemin remember, no matter what happens, do not reveal your identity." Kun said to the young male. Jaehyun turned as he watched Jaemin slowly nod his head, his eyes full of fear.
...
"You're bruised." Jenna said as Jaehyun change in front of her. Jaehyun looked at his right bicep, a purple patch forming where he had been punched earlier.
"It'll heal." Jaehyun responded, continuing to remove his shirt. He reached out to grab another one to sleep in, but a hand on his arm stopped him.
"Let's ice it." Jenna said, holding him back. Jaehyun gave her a soft nod as she guided him to her bed before running downstairs to grab and ice pack. When she returned, Jaehyun was looking at his phone, scrolling as he sat shirtless on her bed. She took a seat across from him, catching his attention.
"Here." Jenna said, placing the ice over his bruise. She felt Jaehyun wince at the cold touch. She held his hand in her free hand, softly rubbing her thumb over his palm.
"Does it hurt?" Jenna asked. Jaehyun shook his head, reassuring her.
Jenna felt her arm go numb, so she switched her hands, making her new position even more uncomfortable. She tried to find a comfortable position but was surprised when Jaehyun's arms wrapped around her, pulling her into his lap.
"You can stop icing it now." Jaehyun said, staring into Jenna's eyes. Jenna slowly put the ice pack down as Jaehyun grabbed her chin, tilting her head up towards his before softly placing his lips against hers. Her arms naturally wrapped around his neck as she leaned forward into the kiss. Jaehyun lost his balance, falling back onto her cushions, a small chuckle escaping both of their lips.
Jaehyun turned them over so that they were both lying on their sides, as he propped himself up on one arm, the other one around her waist. Jenna stared at the tattoo on his hip, softly tracing it with her fingers.
"You really like that tattoo, don't you?" Jaehyun commented, making Jenna remove her hand.
"I don't know, it just attracts me everytime I see it." Jenna told him. Jaehyun pulled her closer, so that her head rested on his chest. He placed a small kiss on her head.
"What are you doing?" Jenna asked, giggling.
"Cuddling you." Jaehyun replied, smiling.
