"Johnny, you need to calm down." Jaehyun heard Ten say from over the radio. Johnny scoffed from his words. They were sitting in Mark's car, trying to think of another plan as Haechan's was parked beside them.
"Easy for you to say, your sister's car is completely toasted while she's missing." Johnny said under his breath, his hands balled up in fists. Jaehyun couldn't help but feel guilty. If it weren't for him, Jenna probably wouldn't be involved in this mess right now.
"He has a point Johnny, getting angry isn't going to help us find her." Taeyong said, rubbing his temples. Jaehyun could tell that he was just as stressed as they were.
Suddenly, Mark's phone lit up, Yangyang's caller ID showing. They watched as Mark picked up the phone, holding it to his ear.
"Hello?" Mark said. His eyebrows furrowed as he listened to what Yangyang had to say.
"Wait give me a moment, let me put you on speaker." Mark said, removing the phone from his ear. He turned back to look at Jaehyun. "Jaemin got a call from Mr. Park."
Jaehyun felt his stomach twist. They had Jenna somewhere and were using her as bait. Jaehyun could tell that Jaehyun didn't like the situation either. Mark put his phone on speaker, allowing them to hear the conversation on the other side.
"Hi Jaemin." Mr. Park snickered.
"Hello." Jaemin's voice was calm but deep down, Jaehyun could tell that Jaemin was shaking in fear. Mr. Park was a strong enemy, even for NCT and he was using that to his advantage.
"I know you're looking for her and you obviously know that I have her. Come to the warehouse on the edge of the Neo City if you want to save her and make sure you tell Jaehyun to come alone. Tell him he's a fool if he thinks NCT can break me out of jail just to make my daughter a laughing stock." They heard Jenna's voice in the background, cursing at Mr. Park's men. "You have an hour." Jaehyun heard the line cut, signalling that the call had ended. Mark stared at Taeyong and Jaehyun, not knowing what to say. Finally, Jaemin's voice broke the silence.
"Now what?" Jaemin asked. Jaehyun sighed, taking the phone from Mark.
"You heard him Jaemin, I'll meet him like he asked. Send the number to Doyoung so he can track the location and Ten could take a look at security. We'll contact you guys through the radio." Jaehyun told him.
"Alright hyung." Jaemin said before the call ended. Jaehyun looked up to see the members staring at him.
"Are you seriously going to risk your life for this?" Yuta asked him. Jaehyun shrugged his shoulders.
"Anything to get her back." Jaehyun said.
"What's the plan then?" Johnny asked, voice calm. The fact that Mr. Park was using Jenna as a hostage meant that she was safe, for now.
"You heard him, he wants me there alone, so I'll go there alone." Jaehyun said. "Head back to the mansion, I need my car." Jaehyun told him. Mark eyed Taeyong before starting the engine.
"Let's get going then." Mark said, guiding the car towards the mansion.
...
The breeze from the ocean made Jaehyun's hair fly as he stepped out of his car, into the dark night. The warehouse was abandoned, the fence broken, the only light coming from a single lamp in the corner. It was an interesting location, near the edge of the city, but isolated enough to no one would be able to tell what was happening on the inside. He walked up the door, knocking on it.
Jaehyun hummed to himself, hands in his pockets as the door opened. The two men inside quickly grabbed both his arms, dragging him in. They had their faces covered, trying to cover their identities. Cute.
"Aggressive." Jaehyun said with a chuckle. The two men went through another door, pushing him forward to come face to face with a man in a black suit. Mr. Park.
"Drop your weapons." Mr. Park demanded. Jaehyun took the gun out of his pocket, dimantaling it in seconds before dropping it to the ground.
"All of them." Mr. Park said. Jaehyun shrugged before opening his jacket, dropping the four knifes inside before taking apart the second gun sitting on the inside of the other side of the jacket. Jaehyun could tell Mr. Park's men were surprised to see the large amount of weapons he carried on him.
"Are you alone?" Mr. Park asked. Jaehyun simply smirked.
"Isn't that what you asked for?" Jaehyun said back. Mr. Park slit his eyes. One of his men entered the room.
"He's alone, Sir, not a single vehicle around the perimeter." The man reported. Mr. Park nodded his head, satisfied.
"Keep up that confidence and Jenna might not make it out alive." Mr. Park said, a smug grin on his face. Jaehyun's smirk dropped, staring at the man instead.
"Where is she?" Jaehyun asked. Mr. Park nudged his head, and his men brought Jenna in.
Jaehyun's eyes widened in shock as he saw her. Her right cheek was bruised, probably from the crash, hair dishelved, with her mascara running down her face. Her hands were bound by rope behind her, and the men gripped onto her shoulders tightly. A rag was wrapped around her head, preventing any sound from exiting her mouth. Jaehyun gritted his teeth.
"Let her go." Jaehyun said. Mr. Park shrugged his shoulders.
"You haven't even heard my end of the deal yet." Mr. Park said, his eyes bright.
"Fine, tell me." Jaehyun, said crossing his arms. Mr. Park let out a laugh.
"Oh Jaehyun, you're in for a treat tonight."
