We finished up the London concerts smoothly and were currently waiting to board the plane to Paris.
Since finding Jungkook, it was a lot easier to feel comfortable since he was a familiar face. But every so often I would make eye contact with Taehyung, and there was something...agitated in his gaze.
"Jungkook, we're going to the city of love, can you believe it?!" I squealed. Going to Paris had been a dream of mine since I was ten.
"Maybe I'll meet some cute Parisian girls," he joked.
"You say that as a joke but I know full well that I'm gonna be looking for some cute Parisian boys and no one is gonna stop me," I said.
We boarded the plane and took off, leaving London and all of its memories behind.
Time Skip
After a short flight we arrived in Paris, the sweet smell of baked goods and all things Paris instantly hit my nose.
"Soorim, after you finish working why don't you join us all for dinner. Sora can't come because she's meeting up with some designer so we'd love to have you," one of the managers said.
In the corner of my eyes I could see Taehyung and Sora in an argument.
Yikes.
"Umm, sure if it's okay with everyone else," I said shyly.
"Girl you've made these shows better than I've ever seen, you're welcome every time," one of the stylists blurted.
Everyone cheered in agreement.
"Okay then. I'll be there. Just send me the address," I said.
And with that we all parted ways.
As I drove to the venue, I could see the Eiffel Tower in the distant.
"Lena is gonna be so jealous."
Once I arrived at the venue I jumped into work, helping others with the setup.
The workers were all very friendly, and by friendly, I mean flirty.
I'd walk by and they'd say phrases to me in French before winking at me.
I fixed some of the audio issues, and used their self-proclaimed "super duper strong masking tape" to mark the stage. I was not about to stress a dancer like that ever again. That girl looked like she wanted to die as she tried to pick up the masking tape the other day.
To test it, I tried dancing some of their hardest dance routines. Like I said, I took dance for a good portion of my life so I could watch a choreography a few times and figure it out.
I didn't realize how into it I had gotten because when I finished all the worker applauded and whistled for me.
"Parfait! Très belle!" They chanted. (Perfect! Very beautiful)
After that, the day was pretty easy. I was pretty tired from my flight but they had taken the instructions I had given them and followed it to the tee so I didn't even need to do much.
Once my work day finished, I headed back to the hotel to freshen up.
I decided to wear something cute and casual since they said it wasn't a really formal restaurant. Everyday there was a concert, I had to wash the work shirt they gave me and wear it so I rarely got to wear the things I packed.
