The next morning, I was awoken with the beautiful aroma of pastries. Using my nose as my guide, I wandered down to the kitchen to see the lovely spread of breakfast my parents had made me.

"Wow this is amazing," I huffed.

I didn't know what it was with my loved ones cooking me big meals, but I was not complaining.

I chatted with my parents a bit, catching them up on my travels and adventures as well as the bombshell I dropped yesterday. Leaving out the minor details of said trip.

"I'm glad you had fun sweetheart. It's good to branch out. I know we didn't travel with you as a kid so this is a great opportunity to explore the world. And let me be the one to say that I'm thrilled you're moving back. It'll be so good to have you around again," my father beamed.

"Happy to be back dad," I said kissing him on the cheek.

My phone alarm suddenly went off, catching the attention of everyone.

"Going somewhere honey?" My mom questioned.

"Oh yeah, Jungkook said the managers wanted to see me at their company today. I won't be long. Once I come back we can watch a movie or something," I said.

"Sure thing honey, just wear something warm, it is getting quite cold," my mother advised.

I put on a warm sweater and then an overcoat over it as well as some warm jeans and boots.

I headed out and hailed a cab. I gave him the address Jungkook gave me and the we headed out.

If there was one thing I could recommend when coming to South Korea in the winter, it would be to just take a drive. It truly was a pretty sight. Fresh or dried snow on the pavement and people playing around in it. Bustling workers hustling around in their layers. The Christmas decorations and happily families spending time with their children who came home.

All of it was such a beauty. I had almost forgotten what it looked like.

A short drive later, I arrived at the company. I paid the driver and headed to the front door.

My heart was pounding either out of excitement or nervousness.

I stepped in, the receptionist giving me a warm smile.

"Hi, do you have an appointment?"

I chuckled nervously, "Not exactly. My friend Jungkook that the managers wanted to see me. I'm Kang Soorim."

In a blur, loud screaming came from the other side of the building, "SHE'S HERE!"

A bunch of people sprinted over to me, trapping me in a massive group hug.

I patted everyone's back, an overwhelming feeling of happiness exploding in me.

When everyone pulled away, I noticed that it was only the managers and stylists there.

"Everyone else is preparing for MAMA. But we're better anyway. We have so much to spill," the said, dragging me further in the building.

While we were walking through the building, I felt a sense of nostalgia. I hadn't been inside a company in a while, but it was all the same. The dance studio, the recording studios, the meeting rooms, the break rooms, all of it was the same as my old company.

"How did your hair get so long?" One of the stylists asked.

My hair had grown to my shoulders and had lost its bounciness.

"Yeah, you look really familiar. I swear I've seen you somewhere before," another commented.

I gave a nervous chuckle, "I get that a lot."
