One Month Later
After the whole tattoo incident, life seemed to be going back to normal. Technically I was still on a job so I didn't have to go into the office, though I did go a few days just to check-in with everyone, but other than that I was home doing what I needed to. It felt like life had gone back to normal. But as fast as it started, it ended.
A month had passed and it was time for me to fly back to Korea to spend time with my family.
While I was away, no one from my group had really called or texted except for Thanksgiving when they screamed how much they missed me.
I had also officially decided that I was going to move back to Korea, so I had to do a bit of extra packing. I was still going to come back to LA after the tour was over but I figured I might as well get a head start on bringing my belongings over.
So I grabbed my two suitcases which were huge and stuffed as many clothes as I could in them without going over the weight limit.
I actually managed to pack seventy-five percent of my closet into those two suitcases. From undergarments to dresses, I had cleared out quite a bit. And then in a backpack I managed to fit my toiletries, laptop, and all other things I'd need for the tour.
Lena came into my room sadly, "Stop this makes me so sad. I feel like you're already gone."
"Aww don't worry babe it's just the closet. When I come back I'll get all of the other stuff. But by then you'll be packed up too," I assured.
"Did you do the international wire transfer?" She asked.
"Yep. All the money in my bank account was transferred to my bank account in Korea," I said.
"Did you check to make sure that it's all there?" She raised an eyebrow.
"Sheesh of course I did I'm not a teenager," I rolled my eyes.
She sat on my bed with a big sigh, "This is crazy. But I'm glad we're finding our paths. Just remember, we'll always be best friends."
I rolled up my leggings to reveal our friendship ankle tattoo, "Forever. I mean we better be because I heard tattoo removals are way more painful than getting them."
Lena smacked my arm, "You are so irritating."
Once I was a thousand percent sure I had everything I needed, I loaded up the bags in the car and set off to the airport
"Lena, tell Brooks to take my car. I know you guys don't have one yet and use public transportation as a means of getting to work, but instead of going through the hassle of selling it, I'll just switch ownership to you. Brooks is going to be driving cross country anyway so why not do it in this beauty?" I offered.
"I couldn't take your car, you love her too much," Lena sighed.
"Girl I'm not even going to be in states anymore and I'd rather her be with people I trust then people I don't," I said.
"Are you sure?" She asked.
"Positively."
She smiled, "Thanks Sierra. I promise she'll be in good hands."
We arrived at the airport shortly after.
Lena embraced me tightly, "Be safe okay."
But I could tell she wanted to say more. She wanted to advise me on what to do about all my crazy relationships and the drama.
"Don't let them get to you. You're Sierra Soorim Kang. You're fierce and independent. You should never play to be someone's second best. And if that Sora girl comes at you again, let me know and I will fly myself to Korea and drag her," Lena threatened.
