Soorim POV
After that painful interaction with Taehyung, I noticed he seemed to be a lot friendlier with everyone and was acting the way he used to, much to Sora's dismay.
We boarded the plane to Buenos Aires, Argentina. It was the last stop on our South American leg, and also happened to be the place where I'd celebrate my birthday.
I boarded the plane, relaxing in my first class seat.
Jungkook excitedly chatted with me about how I was going to have the best birthday ever, but I wasn't really listening to be honest.
A pair of brown eyes were burning holes through my head as Jungkook talked about my birthday, and when I made eye contact with him, he gave me a small grin as if he had something planned.
"-re you ready to turn twenty-four?" Jungkook continued.
"I find nothing special in my birthday," I said. I lowered my voice, "And you should know that former boyfriend."
He rolled his eyes, "I do, and it's stupid. Everyone's birthday matters. Just because yours was a bit more hellish than it should've been in the middle doesn't mean it isn't important."
"I'm sure it's important for others, but for me, I don't see the point in celebrating something as simple as getting older. Everyday we get a little bit older so what's so significant about a whole year when it was the effort of the prior three-hundred sixty-four days that the three-hundred sixty-fifth did anything," I shrugged.
Jungkook gave me a dumbfounded stare, "I just...wow okay. You're one weird human."
I smirked triumphantly, "It's my best quality."
Four Days Later
After arriving in Buenos Aires we successfully pulled off all of the concerts.
Today was our last day of their as well as the last day of the South American leg, and it also happened to be...my birthday!
We had spent all day sightseeing and saw places like La Boca and the Caminito Street museum, as well as Plaza de Mayo and Casa Rosada.
But when it was about six thirty, it was, and I quote, "Party time."
They rushed me back to the hotel, and had me be prepared by the styling staff. They spent an hour or two working on my hair and makeup and then finally revealed the dress that I would be wearing. It was an emerald green dress with a slit in the middle and had an cuts in the middle between the upper and lower half.
"We'll be able to see everyone of your charms. From your scandalous tattoos to your raw and natural beauty," the stylists gushed.
I spun around in front of the mirror, stunned by the dress' beauty.
There was a knock on the door that drew everyone's curiosity.
We opened it to reveal a very sharp looking Taehyung. He gave us all the boxy grin we had been missing, cheekily holding his arm out for me.
"I'll be escorting the lady of the night today," he smiled sheepishly.
Heat rushed to my cheeks as the other stylists practically flung me towards him. I never mentioned anything to them, but they were the most perceptive so I had a hunch they knew what was going on.
I took his arm and walked towards the party which was being held on a rented out rooftop terrace that the hotel had.
"You look radiant," he complimented.
"Thanks. Where's umm, your date?" I bit my lip nervously.
This was a bit too public for us to be showing our complicated relations.
