Soorim POV

After I got discharged from the hospital, everyone was glued to my side like a bodyguard to protect me from strenuous activity.

So to recount my injuries that have been inflicted or semi-inflicted by Sora, we've got the coffee burn, the concussion, and the electrocution, but here I was still trying to be nice to her and not get her butt in trouble.

I wasn't even sure why. But when I saw her face before I passed out she seemed genuinely mortified at what she had done. There was something anxious and broken inside of her. So I couldn't bring myself to accuse her.

Still worried about my condition, Jungkook and Taehyung insisted on carrying all my stuff. Sora was peeved but she didn't say anything.

Maybe I was right about her feeling guilty.

"Guys I'm really fine but I won't complain because I'm lazy," I joked.

We boarded the flight to Jakarta, and everyone decided to coddle me.

"Guys please, personal space. I'll let you know if I need anything," I said, pushing them away.

That got everyone to back off a bit. I really was fine all things considered.

But I could feel everyone staring at me worriedly.

Including Sora.

Time Skip

After seven hours we arrived in Jakarta. I had to head to the venue to go set up while the others went sightseeing, however, they all bailed and came with me to set up.

"You guys are actually crazy," I sighed.

"I'm not letting you get shocked again," Taehyung frowned.

"You're acting like I get shocked every Tuesday or something," I whined.

Taehyung furrowed his eyebrows, "Soorim you know I-"

"Yes Tae I know you do. I'm sorry. I just don't want to be treated like a child from something that isn't that major," I reasoned.

He gave me his charming boxy smile making my heart crumble into a thousand pieces. I knew I was supposed to be playing the tough girl, no nonsense act about the whole cheating thing, but I couldn't. I couldn't stay away from him. Every smile he flashed me sent me further into the realm of feelings.

As I set up, I gratefully acknowledged the help of my coworkers who were diligently doing their best to lighten my load.

When I had to direct them on stage and give them their blocking instructions they listened well and didn't make me wait or question my methods.

"Taehyung and Sora, I need you on stage for the encore," I said.

But Taehyung was the only one to show up.

"Sora!" I called.

The others tried calling for her as well but there was no answer.

"I'll go look for her," Taehyung piped up.

"No, I can go. In the meantime I need the managers to have you run through Scenery, Winter Bear, Stigma, and Singularity again for a few audio things," I said.

Not listening to anyone's protest, I headed down below the stage to find Sora.

"Kim Sora! You're needed on stage!" I shouted.

I continued to call out for her but there was no response.

"Sora come on! I know today was supposed to be everyone else's free day but I couldn't help them wanting to come! Please stop sulking and come out!" I pleaded.
