Today was the day of the interviews.
After playing more games with Jungkook I came back to a very peeved Sora.
But I didn't really care. I kept going back to what Jungkook was saying.
Soorim and I need to have a very long conversation.
The interviews today were for Sora, me, and Jungkook and the female center dancer. (I'm sorry I was too lazy to give her a name🙃)
Soorim was coming with us too, as well as the stylists and the managers.
The stylists had arrived early in our room and had begun on our hair and makeup.
The idea for today's interviews was casual and chatty. Our company had rented out this room where several entertainment channels were going to come and talk to us.
"Knock knock. Are you guys ready?" Jungkook asked, coming into the room.
Sora scowled at his arrival, looking bitterly down at her phone.
I mouthed, 'Ignore her,' to him.
"Almost, why what's up?"
"Because the team decided to let Soorim drive us there so she could show us a scenic route of LA," he explained.
Sora coughed, "She's driving us now? I thought she was meeting us there."
"Well it is her home turf so she wanted to show us around," Jungkook said.
"Is there another car that Taehyungie and I can take?" She huffed.
"Nope. Managers are coming in their own car and the stylists are too so all that's left is that car," Jungkook shrugged.
She kicked her leg in frustration.
Jungkook shot me a look before heading out.
Once Sora and I were ready we all headed out. The car seating went as such. Soorim was in the driver's seat and then the backup dancer was shotgun. In the back, it was Sora, me, then Jungkook. So yeah, it made for a pretty interesting car ride.
"Okay, get ready. I'm gonna give you the Kang Soorim special of LA," Soorim beamed.
She looked so happy. More than I had ever seen her. It must be nice for her to be in familiar territory.
She took us on a roadway called Mulholland Drive, which had all these windy roads but led to some great scenery.
We hopped out of the car to take some pictures.
It really was a beautiful sight. It overlooked the whole city. You could get a sense of the business of the city, yet there was this calm and careless spirit about it.
"Enjoying it?" Soorim sidled up to me.
I felt my breath catch in my throat. How does she manage to do that?
