We finished off our São Paulo concerts successfully, and I adjusted well to my new dancer position.
Everything was still mega awkward between everyone and after that one comment by Taehyung he hadn't spoken to me.
But oh well.
Today we were heading to Santiago, Chile.
I was grabbing a snack from the vending machine when I heard a loud squeal.
"Soorim is moving back to Korea and she didn't tell us?!"
Uh oh.
Everyone sprinted over to me, shaking me in excitement and fury.
"She also forgot to mention that her birthday is coming up," Jungkook gave me a cheeky grin.
I shot him a deathly glare, "Birthdays weren't that important to me. I usually went out for dinner with Lena and that was about it. They just didn't matter to me. And about the moving, I wanted to tell you guys soon and surprise but it looks like big lips over here spilled."
Everyone was clustered around me chattering excitedly, but I could feel my eyes wander towards Taehyung who was canoodling with Sora.
But I didn't have much time to see if he would look back at me because I was dragged onto the plane by the others.
I sighed, turning my attention away from them and focused on taking a nap. It was essential to rest on the flight because once we landed we all had to go to the venue and get ready since the concert was later that day.
"Chile, here I come."
Time Skip
A three hour flight we all hurried off of the plane and scrambled to gather everything before being taken to the venue.
I got started right away on all of the preparations, my stage manager disposition taking over. I worked with the tech team to make sure all the sound and lighting was right as Taehyung and Sora practiced their songs. Then I worked with the stage hands so that they knew where everything was. And then finally I focused on the actual performers and gave them blocking tips and entrance and exit information.
"Who made you in charge anyway?" Sora scoffed.
"Your boss," I muttered under my breath.
"Listen Soorim, I'll do what I want to so I can connect with my fans. Just because you got promoted to center dancer for one segment of this show doesn't mean you can go bossing next around!" Sora yelled.
I rolled my eyes, "If that's what you think I'm doing, you are sorely mistaken Miss Kim. I'm doing this to make sure your show doesn't fall apart."
She was fuming, and by fuming I mean fuming. Exactly as the others described it.
"Tell me what to do and I'll hurt you in ways you could never imagine. I'm powerful Kang Soorim and don't forget it!" She spat.
But I looked her in the eyes coolly, "As I said before Sora, I'm only doing this to make your show better but if you'd like to disregard my words and fall flat on your face because of the wires that you're arguing with me about, by all means."
My gaze turned to Taehyung, a bitter tone escaping my lips, "Why don't you go take your darling dearest to go calm down?"
I addressed everyone, "Everyone take thirty, we'll reconvene after and run through the whole show."
