"Hi, beautiful" Namjoon says through the phone, while I'm sitting on my couch, trying to put on my high heeled boots. In less than an hour I'm supposed to meet Mirae in Itaewon so I took my time to dress up and do my makeup. "Hi, how was practice?" I ask closing the zipper and rolling the hem of my jeans above the boot, in a nice, stylish way. "Exhausting. Hobi showed up at the company with so much energy and he literally killed us today" he complains. "Looks like he had a good time last night" I snicker, having no doubt that those two did more than staring at the walls and holding hands all night. But that's not my business. "He wasn't the only one who had fun" he says and I can feel his smirk even through the phone. "Interesting. Maybe we should repeat it then" I tease and he takes the bite. "Oh, I would love that, but I'm afraid it would have to wait. We have to go back to the studio now and work on some songs. We'll probably be at it until late at night" he says, sighing heavily. Honestly, I am impressed at how much dedication they show to their art, even though they never get to rest properly because of that. "Make sure you don't skip dinner, okay?" I can understand losing sleep over work. I've done it many times as well, but food is important to keep your strength.
"I'll order something, don't worry, baby. What about you?"
"Oh, I'm actually getting ready to go out with Mirae for dinner and some drinks. I've been working on a case all d- Carlos, get out of the way" I scold the cat which keeps brushing to my feet and I almost walk over him. "No, don't look at me with that face. You can't expect to get away with it by acting cute all the time" the cat just sits down looking at me curiously, then starts licking its paw.
"Carlos? Cute? Are you cheating on me, Inna?" Namjoon pouts, a door closing in the background. "Maybe. He is more handsome than you" I tease him, while I take Carlos in my arms and snap a picture which I quickly send to him. "Check your Kakao" I continue, giving kisses to my furry friend. "Fuck!" he curses, breathing heavily. "What? Isn't he cute?"
"He is, just...I'm seriously thinking of skipping dinner tonight and come eat you instead." His words make my toes curl in my boots and a wave of heat spreads through me. "Namjoon!" I scold him, but I secretly love his flirt. He laughs and says "Okay, gorgeous. I'll have to go now. Take care and have a good time. I'll text you later."
"Thank you. Bye, Joonie and slay that song" I say before we hang up.

I look again at the picture I sent him. My hair is on a side, loose and sexy long curls that I spent half an hour styling. My makeup is pretty simple, but the eyeliner and red lipstick makes it look sophisticated. I was never too good at drawing even though occasionally I'd attempt shaping some of my favorite characters in books, but I've always been good at doing makeup. For me, is still a form of art and I enjoy doing it. The fact that it makes me look prettier, it's an advantage. Damn, I must admit that's a good picture. And Carlos looks incredibly beautiful, with his big green eyes matching my own, the natural light in my room making them look even more intense. I put down the cat, scratching him behind his ears, then take a final look in the mirror before I grab my black leather jacket from a hanger: blue mom jeans that compliment my waist, hips and bottom, a black tight blouse hanging off the shoulders, a fancy belt on my pants that makes my waist look even slimmer and black high-heeled boots. This is such a foreigner outfit, pretty unusual for Seoul, but it's my style and we're going to Itaewon Street, where the residents are mostly foreigners so it shouldn't matter.

I quickly call for a taxi and when I am about to exit the apartment, I find Reea Morrison in front of my door, hand up formed in a fist as if she was getting ready to knock. "Well, that was quick" she says rising her brows. "Don't tell me. You're here for Carlos" I say by way of greeting. "That too" she says looking over my shoulder, her eyes searching for her cat. She has two big trolleys at her side, as if she is moving out. Wait a minute- Is she fucking moving in here? Hell no! "Morrison, please tell me you weren't about to ask me to move into my apartment" I say wide eyed, deep inside praying she'll say no. My phone buzzes, letting me know that my taxi is almost here. "Who the fuck would want to live with you, stalker?" she mocks me and I am reminded of the whole Namjoon pictures incident from two nights ago. "I'm not a stalker, for God's sake!" I reply frustrated, but she just grins at me as she enters the apartment, uninvited, to pick up her cat.
"Carlitos, I missed you. Come to mama!" Reea squeals. Well, that's new. I never thought she'd be able to show expressions other than smirking, grinning and throwing arrows with her gaze. "What's with all the luggage then? Did you find a place to stay or the south korean government finally realized they let a psycho in their country and is deporting you?" I joke, but my question is genuine. I'm curious if she was able to find a house. "You're not that lucky, Young," she retorts, exiting my home with Carlos in her arms. I follow her with my eyes, still waiting for my question to be answered. "I found an apartment in this building." My mouth drops open. "You've got to be kidding me!" Reea lets her cat rest on one of the trolleys and grabbing their handles, she starts walking towards the elevators. "Bye for now, neighbor" she snickers and I have the urge to remove my boot and throw it at her just to get rid of that smug look on her face.
Brilliant. Fucking. Brilliant.
