Transcendence

One extends one's limits only by exceeding them.

In a daily basis, we tend to challenge ourselves and exceed our limitations - even in the most simplest of ways. And despite the grave consequences we might face because of the small risks we take one step at a time, at the end day, the only thing that matters most is that we dared ourselves to seize every moment - and make every bet count.

In modern philosophy, the term "transcendence" means "going beyond" one's own limitations. Ready to gamble everything and even put one's self into the line - in order to break through those personal boundaries set. Blaine was a very competitive, clever, and capable student - also he's openly gay. But it seems that for others, he's just being modest in every thing he does - a reluctant celebrity, as they say. And because of always being mistaken as the "awkward bookworm nerd," Blaine only had a few friends for company. But with all that is said and done, he did what he needed to do for the sake of himself - after everything that had happened.

After a year of lying low, it seems as if destiny had already done it's part to reconcile Blaine and his greatest love - Nathan. A dense, unpredictable, and typical juvenile student, not to mention the resident school bully, Nathan was undeniably hailed as the campus crush and had made a ton of girls swoon and fall head over heels for him. The truth is, Blaine was into Nate for God knows how long. But the question is, how far would Blaine be willing enough to conquer and surpass his limits? Would he just let their own story end for good?

With the help of their supportive friends, is there any possibility to even continue their story? Or would all their efforts end up futile, and reality had already slapped them really hard- they weren't just aware of it?

And of all the places, love shall bloom along the streets on the university belt in Manila. Will they be willing enough to fight for their loved ones, or will they succumb to the hateful words of those which stigmatize their differences, much more their own schools?

This is not your typical, cringe-worthy, cliché-induced story. Perhaps, it could be an eye-opener, for a reality that we all must face and be enlightened with. A story that celebrates diversity among people with a variety of traits, attributes, and outlooks in life. 

Either one pushes his own limits, or ultimately, suffocate on his own comfort zone.
