~Chapter 15~

Darrys P.O.V-

I woke up to Kaiya digging through my mom's stuff. I angrily said "What are you doing"?

Kaiya spun around "Darry"!

I climbed out of bed "What are you doing" ?I

Kaiya took a harsh breath "Nothing."

I walked over to Kaiya and grabbed her hands behind her back. "How'd you get that"?

Kaiya's eyes widened and suddenly anger filled them "I found something out Darry"!

I glared at her "and what is that" ?

Kaiya pulled her arms out of my grip "You hid my own mothers letters from me'"!

I gulped "Lies."

Kaiya shook her head "Your the liar. Why didn't you give them to me" ?!

I crossed my arms "Because you were gonna go home and leave me faster than a-"

Kaiya cut me off "Unbelievable! You are so selfish."

I held my head "You don't understand."

Kaiya glared at me "No I do. It's you who doesn't. So what if I want to go home to my own mother! Don't you think I should be able to be with my mom" ?

I sighed "Kaiya I'm sorry. I just didn't want to lose you."

Kaiya rolled her eyes "When will you stop letting your jealousy and selfishness get the best of you? Really Darry your a sweet guy but do you realize that your starting arguments because of this."

Kaiya tried walking out but I grabbed her arm. "Kaiya listen. I feel like I need to protect you because I am basically a father to Sodapop and Ponyboy. I don't want to lose you when I can put a stop to it."

Kaiya smiled "Your not losing me. I will always be with you." She motioned towards my heart.

I smiled and picked her up and kissed her. Kaiya kissed me back and she hugged me. after the kiss, Kaiya left to take a shower. I started cooking breakfast. The gang arrived shortly after I finished cooking. They all sat down at the table. Kaiya walked in and sat down. Her hair was frizzy after the shower and I admired that. She looked pretty no matter what.

I was all happy until I found out Kaiya was going to be hanging out with Dally. Dally would let her do whatever she wanted and it seems that no matter what Kaiya and Dally would end up in jail. I didn't want Kaiya to know I was upset. Or maybe I was just jealous. Never, I could never be jealous of Dallas. I was just annoyed that Dally bought Kaiya a leather jacket. She looked amazing in it but I was going to buy her one. I kissed Kaiya good bye in front of Dally just to remind him that she was mine.

Dallys P.O.V -

Darry was acting weird. He kissed Kaiya in front of me to try to make me jealous or something. I wasn't jealous and I didn't give a damn about Kaiya. I didn't like her as a crush at all. I saw her like a kid brother or something. And she liked getting into trouble with me. I saw her like a little brother who would follow an older brother around. And it was fun to hang out with her. There was no  relationship gonna build off of that.

Kaiya's P.O.V -

I was caught off by suprise when Darry kissed me. I didn't care thought, it was nice to have a kiss from Darry. It showed that he really cared about me. Darry went his way and Dally and I left to go into town. I know I promised not to get into trouble but what could go wrong?
