~Chapter 9~

Darrys P.O.V-

It was all fine on the couch but when I looked up, Kaiya and Two-Bit were fighting over a beer. They kept pulling on the bottle and the bartender said "I can get you one, just don't fight."

Kaiya glared at Two-Bit "This is my beer. He can get another one."

Two-Bit pulled on the beer "No. I want this one."

Kaiya replied "How do you not know that this is MY BEER" !

Two-Bit pulled on it and Kaiya let it go. The beer spilled all over Two-Bit and Kaiya grabbed the beer the bartender was offering. "Thanks dude."

Two-Bit squealed and ordered another beer. "Brat"!

Kaiya walked back to the couch. "Hey guys."

I smiled "What's up."

Kaiya sat down next to me "Nothing."

I smirked "Are you sure? Because you and Two-Bit just-"

Kaiya cut me off "Well, well, well. Why were you watching me"?

I was dumbfounded but Dally cut in "Everyone was watching you. Two-Bit when you were screaming louder than hell."

Kaiya smiled "Two-Bit grabbing by beer was totally uncalled for."

Dally grinned but quickly stopped. "Look at that broad, be right back."

Kaiya looked at me "Broad"?

I replied "It means chick, like a pretty girl."

Kaiya nodded "sounds tuff."

I looked at her confused " Tuff"?

She held her head "Dally just taught me that. I'm trying to sound like you boys."

I laughed "You know what I think"?

Kaiya looked intrigued "What"?

I grabbed the beer out of her hands "That you have had enough beer."

"I don't think so." Kaiya said grabbing her beer back. "Now tell me what you really think because you obviously didn't say what you really wanted to."

I bit my tongue "How'd ya know"?

Kaiya took a swig of her beer "You stuttered."

I grinned "I think that you are perfect just the way you act."

Kaiya laughed "Perfect, no. Messed up? Definitely."

I shook my head "You're not messed up."

Kaiya raised her eyebrow "That's because you haven't been with me long enough. You just wait."

I nodded "I will wait. That will just prove my point."

Kaiya finished her beer and said "You don't like losing, do you"?

I sat back on the couch "Nope."

Kaiya was about to answer me but a boy cut her off. "Excuse me miss. Would you like to dance with me"?

Kaiya looked at me and back at him. "Uh."

I suddenly felt jealousy rush through me. "Excuse me little dude. She was dancing with me so she obviously-"

The boy cut me off "I wasn't asking you, I was asking her."

Kaiya smiled and stood up "Sweet, let's dance."

I watched in anger as he twirled her correctly and tipped her. How perfect their body's moves to the music. I was jealous. I just don't know why.  Kaiya caught me staring at her and she mouthed "Miss me"?

I shook my head even though I wanted to barge through the crowd and grab her.

Kaiya smirked at me and mouthed "I'm gonna kiss him."

I stood up quickly "Alright gang time to go." I called out to everyone.

Kaiya kissed the boy quickly and ran over to me "You sure you didn't miss me."

I scoffed "You can't just kiss the first guy you see."

Dally laughed "No way Kaiya already kissed someone"?

Kaiya smiled "Well I don't kiss and tell."

Two-Bit laughed "Ooh Kaiya. K-I-S-"

I cut him off "Enough. Kaiya that was very irresponsible of you to do."

Kaiya smiled reassuringly "don't worry. He wasn't a good kisser."

Everyone laughed except for me. I stood there angry. "Kaiya. You and I are gonna talk tonight."

Kaiya smirked "I might be busy kissing someone else. Why" ?

I rolled my eyes "You'll see."

Two-Bit pulled Kaiya away from me and started asking her questions over the kiss.

I was annoyed and jealous. "Kaiya is going to be riding inside the truck. Everyone else is riding in the back."

Steve and Sodapop groaned. "Not fair."
