~Chapter 16~

Dallys P.O.V-

"Run Kaiya"! I yelled.

Both of us had gotten pretty beat up after picking a fight with some SOCS.

Kaiya smirked at me "We have to get cleaned up before Darry finds out what happened."

I replied "Darrys gonna find out. You have a black eye coming in."

Kaiya frowned "Oh no. You better take the blame when Darry asks what happened."

I laughed "You made the mistake of kicking the guy in the balls. If course he was gonna deck you in the eye."

Kaiya laughed "You have to admit the SOCS got it worse. They had bruised everywhere in their face. I just have a busted lip and a black eye."

I smiled "At least you didn't get hit in the nose."

We finally stopped running after we arrived to Darrys house. Kaiya grabbed the first aid kit. She cleaned me up first. After that she cleaned herself up. Two-Bit laughed when we told him the story.

"Next time invite me." He chuckled .

Kaiya smirked as she held ice on her black eye. "If Darry doesnt kill me then yes there will be a next time."

Two-Bit crossed his arms "That eye is surely gonna get Darry to kill you."

Kaiya scoffed "Thanks for the words of encouragement. I will remember that next time you ask me to get you a beer."

I headed up to the fridge and handed everyone a beer "Here. Let's have a cheers before Darry kills Kaiya."

Darrys P.O.V -

I arrived home with a smile on my face. I bought a box of chocolates for Kaiya. I opened the door and there was Dally all beat up.

"No way. Tim got you that bad." I asked concerned at Dallys beat up face.

Dally shook his head "No. This was from today."

I gasped "With Kaiya" ?

Dally nodded "Yeah. Kaiya got them pretty good man. She kicked-"

I cut him off "You let Kaiya fight with some boys"!

Dally replied "You make it sound worse than it actually is."

I shoved past him "Kaiya"!

" Yes"? called Kaiya's voice.

I yelled "Get in here now"!

Kaiya walked in "What" ?

I stared at her eye "what the hell happened"?!

Kaiya held her hands behind her back "Just a lil fight."

I grabbed her face "This was not a little fight. Look you have a busted lip too"!

Kaiya shoved me off of her "Relax Darry. I'm fine" !

Anger rushed through me "don't tell me to relax. You promised and You lied" !

Kaiya glared at me "So did you! I'm just paying back what you did."

I was speechless "You take your damn chocolates I bought you and leave me the hell alone"! I barged into my room shoving Kaiya. When she fell after I shoved her I wanted to pick her up and kiss her. I loved her but she didn't care that I loved her. I slammed the door and locked it.

Kaiya's P.O.V -

Dally helped me up and I stood there with tears in my eyes. I banged on Darrys door! "Darry! Please just calm down. I didn't know This was going to affect you that bad" !

He didn't answer me.

I sat at his door and sobbed into my hands.

It didn't take long for Sodapop to get home. He saw me at Darrys door with dry tears on my face. I had a black eye and a busted lip. Let's just say it wasn't a pretty picture.

Sodapop came up to me "Did he hit you"?

I shook my head "No. I hurt him. He hates me now."

Sodapop knocked on Darrys door saying. "Darry this isn't funny!  open up."

Darry muffled voice replied "Tell Kaiya I don't hate her."

I stood up and knocked "Please forgive me."
