Chapter 9 ♦ Chaos meets the Boss

Nang matapos ang race ay mabilis syang umalis sa lugar na iyon. She take a look at her wristwatch seeing it's already, 3:15am.

'Damn, Im sleepy.'

Pagod na rin sya at kailangan nya ng magpahinga. Mahaba pa ang araw nya bukas.

Alam naman na ni Clover ang gagawin sa napalanunan nya– the money and an additional car to her collection. Bahala na ito doon, dahil ito naman ang madalas gumagawa nun.

Clover and her, isn't really that close but they runs in the same circle– so yeah.

Halos hindi rin magkamayaw ang pagmamakaawa nito kanina na huwag ibangga at gasgasan ang sasakyan nito, but race is a race– ayun, bumangga lang naman yun sa gilid. Hindi lang halata kanina dahil mabilis din ang pagpapatakbo nya. Hindi naman sya nangakong hindi magagasgasan ang sasakyan, dahil alam nyang malabo iyong mangyari.

"For godsake, Chaos! What did you do to my princess?!"

"I told you to take care of her! Shit!"

"Oh my! These scratches! Poor princess!"

Atungal pa nito sa kanya, that cause her to roll her eyes in annoyance.

Those bastards, did tried to kill her. But, damn them! They'll rot in hell first, before her.

Again, she walk with no expression. Chaos receive glances at her way, but they're afraid to meet her gaze. She walks like she own the path, as if no one's watching.

Chaos and her own world.

In this place, everyone is scared of her. Wala naman syang ginawa sa mga ito, well– in some instances. Or maybe, she'd proven herself to them. If you want to stay in the Underground for long, it's better for you to prove yourself first, to gain the respect you wanted.

Kailangan mong maging malakas at matalino dahil hindi lahat ng tao sa Underground ay mapagkakatiwalaan.

First rule?

Don't tangle yourself to someone that can cause you trouble or worse your downfall.
Self-precaution is a must.

Stay away from trouble if you can– but she's Chaos, so trouble loves her and loving it.

But she stop to her tracks when the silver bracelet on her right wrist fell.

'Damn.'

Kaya mabilis nya itong pinulot, pagkatayo nya, muntik na rin syang mawalan ng balanse... buti na lang mabilis nyang inayos ang tindig... that would be embarrassing though...

Lalo na't halos lahat ng naroon ay nakabantay sa bawat galaw na ginagawa nya.

Pero, natulos sya sa kinatatayuan ng masalubong ng mga mata nya, ang matiim na titig na galing sa lalakeng isang metro ang layo sa kanya.

Those piercing grayish iris– same as the cloudy skies that somehow resemble to a coming storm.

Nakatingin lang sya dito at hindi nya maiwasang makaramdam ng kakaiba– the feeling was unknown.

He's also wearing a mask, unlike her, that covered just half of his face. She move her gaze, and saw four dashing men standing behind the guy with grayish iris.

Those four men is also staring at her or them, slightly shock and amaze.

'Who are they?'

Tanong nya sa isip.

Halos lahat ng nakakita sa senaryong iyon ay pansamantalang tumigil para lang alamin ang susunod na mangyari.

Who would have thought that this moment will come?

The two famous person in the Underground is having their staring contest. Making their own world.

"Boss."

Simpleng sabi ng isang nasa likuran nito.

"Oh, my! That's Chaos!"

"And the Boss!"

This night is really a memorable one. Dahil ito ang pinakaunang beses na nagtagpo ang dalawa.

An unexpected meeting for the unexpected night.

"So, you are the infamous Chaos, huh?"

That cold and cunning voice of him.

Mas lalong tumahimik ang paligid. Chaos swallowed the lump on her throat. Hindi pwedeng madaig sya ng taong nasa harapan.

Like the usual– even if it is unusual– she didn't speak a word. Bahagya nyang inatras ang paa, she feel so suffocated of all the sudden.

"And they say, you don't speak to anyone."

Chaos hear murmurs around and she didn't mind. She glare at the guy in front of her.

Na hindi nakaligtas sa paningin ng mga taong malapit sa kanila.

"Why she's glaring at the Boss?"

"She doesn't know who he is?"

"Dunno."

"She's asking for her death."

True to those words, no one ever dare to glare at the Boss– or you're dead.

Well, she's the first one, tho.

"Stop glaring at our Boss, woman."

Said the blonde guy, also glaring at her.

Binalewala nya ito at simpleng ngumisi.

Pero nagulat sila sa sumunod na ginawa ni Chaos, at one last moment, mabilis syang umalis at binangga ang balikat ng Boss.

Wala pa din naman itong reaksyon lalo na sa ginawa nya.

"Boss!"

Hindi ito natinag at tiningnan ang papalayong pigura ni Chaos at mabilis na naglaho sa dilim.

His eyes shone in amusement.

"Interesting..."
