After school that day, Gilda and Bellamy went to the bus stop together, and that's when they saw Tokyo Cyber Detectives Len (or his real name River Loxley). Halo brought the other modules to the friend group from a party. She did some underage drinking, and she ended up with the other three on her back. And that's how they all became friends.
