A few days had passed since Azra found out she was pregnant. When Kai was never happier than that moment when the words "I'm pregnant" came out of his girlfriend's mouth. His arms around the girl's body, wrapping her in a tight hug as if there were no tomorrow, the thousands of little kisses he planted across the blonde's face. The two had forgotten all the problems and things they were going to have to face from that moment forward to enjoy while they were both excited. Excited because after years of dating, they were going to start their little family. They decided not to tell anyone for the first few days, only Eireen knew once that Azra had called her and she offered to go and buy the pregnancy test. The couple debated what would be the best way to tell their friends, but especially their parents. Kai spent the whole weekend debating with himself whether he would tell his parents.

They were in the middle of the morning, Kai had spent all day at the office trying to work but his mind was always on the same subject, it wasn't worth the times he tried to distract, his head always ended up on that subject. Anxious as he repeatedly banged the tip of his pen on the soft surface of his desk, shaking his leg under the table until he let go of the pen, put his leg down on the floor and let his body fall behind him, hitting his back on the chair cushion and running his hands through his hair, letting a sigh of desperation escape his lips. A knock on the door sounded through his office, Kai averted his gaze that was glazed into a void and looked at the door, the door opened and Sehun entered the room, with the sleeves of his black shirt rolled up to his elbows, he closed the door.

"Are you busy?" Sehun asked as he approached the table and Kai nodded. "I won't take too much from you, I just want to know if we're going to have lunch later."

"I can't, sorry. I'm having lunch with Azra today." Kai answered and rubbed his eyes.

"No problem." Sehun shook his head but frowned. "You don't normally go out for lunch with her." He pointed out.

"I guess you could call it lunch to celebrate." Kai softly smiled and shrugged.

"Celebrate?" He raised an eyebrow, confused. "What's the occasion? Relationship anniversary?"

"I promised I wouldn't tell you yet, but since Eireen knows, it's only fair." Kai said as he stared at his friend. "Azra's pregnant." He revealed catching Sehun by surprise.

"She is? Congrats!" Sehun congratulated his friend with a smile. He ran his fingers through his hair. "Can't believe we're getting a small version of you!"

"I'm really happy, but..."

"What? I can give him my last name if you don't want to take that responsability." Sehun offered and let out a small chuckle.

"Absolutely not." Kai rolled his eyes and sighed. "What I mean is, I don't know if I should tell my parents."

"Right, your parents." Sehun pressed his lips into a thin line and relaxed his shoulders as he sat down. He bit the inside of his cheek and looked at his friend. "I don't even know what to tell you anymore, but maybe? Do you think the news will soften them?"

"I doubt."

"It's your baby, are they really going to ignore that?" Sehun asked with a frown.

"With the woman they've always disapproved of." Kai replied as he groaned and rested his elbows on the table.

"It's still their grandchild, they don't have to approve of her..."

"You're right."

Kai had left slightly earlier than usual, got into his car and drove to the Azra company. He parked nearby and walked to the entrance, waiting for the blonde to leave. With his hands in his pockets looking at people passing by in the street until he felt someone hugging him from behind and leaning their head against his back, Kai laughed and turned around, giving a little kiss on the forehead of the girl who quickly walked away from him. Interlacing his long fingers in hers, the couple walked to a restaurant nearby, where Azra usually goes to lunch with her co-workers. The two of them entered, asked for a table and were quickly led to a table for two free; sitting face to face, each with a menu in hand discussing what they would ask for.
