The sun invaded Eireen's room with the window all open and the curtains attached on each side to let the rays and the warmth enter through the room inside. The balcony had been completely unoccupied, the table and the chairs had been arranged in a corner, and the floor was covered with newspapers scattered with an easel on the floor, and a suitcase that the girl had already opened and put on the floor, along with a small glass jar of water up to half full. With her hair caught in a bun, a white old shirt that once belonged to Sehun, with sleeves rolled up and some black shorts that could hardly be seen because the shirt was large. The girl crouched down by the easel, which already had a small cotton canvas, and the suitcase and took out a set of brushes; most of them with a long handle and one or two with a short handle for greater detail, almost all with a round tip. After adding the brushes to the foot of the small glass jar, she took out a box of gouaches and another of watercolors. After everything organized on the floor and ready for her to sit down and paint, Eireen stood up and stretched out, turning her head back to see the time on the computer clock. It was past half past eleven in the morning. She sat on the floor with her legs crossed and grabbed a blue and white gouache, she opened them and put some paint on a white plastic support she had arranged and, with the help of a thinner brush, she mixed the colors and leaned her hand against the canvas, letting her body guide her hand as the ideas went through her head.

This was the girl's new life. After two years in Busan, in Sehun's old apartment where they had both moved for Sehun to be close to his mother who was sick at the time, the couple sold the apartment and returned to Seoul. Sehun had asked for a transfer back to his old company, ready to piss off his best friend again every day when he got bored, but this time Kai didn't even care. Deep down Kai had missed putting up with his best friend, opening the door and break into his office, sitting on one of the chairs in front of him and both talking about random things while pretending they had done all the work that had been handed to them. Eireen, on the other hand, did not request a transfer. The girl had resigned and decided to follow something that, when she left high school, she did not follow for fear that she would never be good at it, because she thought her parents would not support her and because she did not want to be alone either because Astrid was going to follow something else.

The dark-haired girl didn't regret taking that course. That allowed her to meet Azra, Kai and Sehun, and that she wouldn't change for anything. But after years locked in an office, doing the same thing, she finally sat down and realized she didn't want to do it anymore. She resigned and decided to start teaching art classes at Seoul Art College and she was loving it and all the students liked her. And Sehun, every time he passed the room and saw her sitting on the porch, with the sun rays on her face, concentrating on the smallest details, sighed and smiled. He knew she was doing it with the greatest joy and pleasure, and he liked to see her like that. Happy. Happy with the simplest thing in the world. Even though she sometimes faced some difficulties, such as artistic blockages, she would sit on the floor looking at the canvas and couldn't come up with anything, he could only hear her groaning of frustration and her body falling back, dropping whatever brush she had in her hand and taking both hands to her face, or when she was full of work to correct or a bunch of students to help and give tips.

Half an hour after Eireen started painting, the bell rang. Eireen looked back and quickly stuck the brush she had in her hand into the little jar and got up. She walked quickly to the door and opened, seeing Azra with Yoona on her lap. No sign of Kai. He was probably working. The two of them talked for a few minutes until the blonde said goodbye to her friend and left because she had Kai's mother in the car downstairs. They were both going to spend the day together, go for a walk and have lunch outside and Eireen had told her friend that she didn't mind taking care of Yoona, even though she felt a bit anxious to be with a two-year-old at home, alone, as Sehun had gone out to take care of some final details regarding his last purchase. A new car. Probably the new love of his life. Yoona came into the house and looked around. She looked adorable, like a little doll. She had a white frill skirt and a thin red sweater. She had her hair tied at the back and a few hooks to keep the wildest little hairs from going in front of her face. She looked around and then looked at Eireen, remaining silent. Eireen sighed deeply after repeating several times to herself mentally that she could do that.
