There was hustle bustle in the house,afterall there was marriage the very next day.Bela and Anand were tensed at the same time happy for their daughter,Naina who was going to be married to a rich family.The Maheshwaris,their proposal was unexpected but Jayprakash Maheshwari had come to their home with the proposal of marriage.
"betiyan kab badi ho jati hai kuch pata nahi chalta na,muje ab bhi yaad hai preeti ke papa rama bhabhi ne mere hatho mai naina ko muje sopa tha aur meri chotisi gudiyaan ki aaj shaadi hone wali hai.." bela said with a smile on her face reminising that day....
"sahi boli tum bela,bas bhagwan kare uski zindagi aisi hi khushiyon se bhar jaye.."anand said with a serene smile...
In preena's room
Naina was sitting in the balcony looking at the stars.It was her last day in this home,the house where she had spent her childhood,so many memories where attached to this house.A lone tear escaped through her eyes by just the thought of leaving this house...
"are meri behena,kyu ro rahi hai tu..." preeti said as she sat next to her...
"chachiji hume bachpan mai humesha kehti thi na ki ek din humare zindagi mai ek rajkumar aayega aur hume uski saath le jayega,tabhi kitni khushi hoti thi na hume,sapne dekha karte the us rajkumar ke baare mai,intazaar kiya karte the,aur jab voh pal aa jata hai tab samjo voh saare sapne achanak se tut jaata hai aur hum hakikat mai aa jate hai...preeti kyu ladki ko shadi ke baad apna ghar chodna padta hai..." she said as her eyes turned misty...preeti wiped her tears..
"haa manti hu ki iss baat se dhuki hona jayas hai par teri shaadi hone vali hai pagli...itni khushi ki baat hai aur teri shaadi maheshwari khandan mai hone jaa raha hai....tere toh maze hai...lekin naina tu vaha jakar muje bhul toh nahi jayegi na.." preeti asked as even it was easy for her to stay away from her sister..the partner of all crimes...her voice broke at the last statement..
"tuje kaise bhul sakti hu preeti...tu humesha mere liyee sabse zyada pyaari aur khareebi rahegi meri dil mai.." naina said with a smile...preeti wiped her tears and hit naina's shoulder playfully...
"manti hu mai toda senti ho gayi...lekin itnaa bada jhut bolne ki zarurat nahi thi.." preeti said gigling...
"ma..maine kab jhoot bola..." naina said making a confused face...
"tere shadi ke baad toh tere dil ke kareeb aur sabse pyaara toh mere jijaji honge na.."preeti said while naina bit her lips in shyness...she felt her cheeks to be heated just by thinking that she was going to be married next day...a small smile crept on her face..
"hayyee...sharma gayi humari sunder ladki...tuje toh neend nahi aayegi....mere jijaji ke bare mai jo sochti rahegi meri behena...goodnight.." preeti left to sleep teasing her dear sister...naina smilled shyly and kept thinking about her would be husband...
On the otherside...
"vaise bhai apki shaadi hojayegi phir bhi aap aise hi kaam karte rahoge..I mean jab dekhu tab aap sirf kaam ke bare mai baat karte ho..." rohan said making a confused face...
"tu kaam par dyaan laga...mai jo bol raha hu uspar dyaan nahi hai tera...bas meri shaadi ke peche pada hai.." our dulha...sameer maheshwari said sternely to his younger brother..
"bhai aapne bhabhi ko dekha...ekdum pataka dikhti hai voh.." rohan said thinking about his bhabhi...
"ayee...bhabhi hai teri aisi bhasha apni bhabhi ke liye use karte hue sharam nahi aati tuje.."sameer said hitting rohan's head..
"hayyee...dekho toh possessiveness..bhabhi ke khilaf ek shabd nahi suna jaa raha hai voh bhi shadi ke pehle pata nahi shadi ke baad..." before rohan could tease sameer more he ran from there...
"naina..." sameer mumbeled her name...a smile crept on his face while he said her name..feeling something different...her name itself had a soothing effect on him...
"pata nahi bas tumhari naam hi mere liye koi mantra se kam nahi...maine bas tumhari photo dekhi hai aur aaj tak baat bhi nahi ki hai...phir bhi ek alag connection sa ban gaya hai mere dil mai...kal se tum mere zindagi mai aajaogi...I just hope ki mai pati hone ke sari zimmedari ache se nibha pau.." sameer said to himself...looking at the stars as happiness reflected his face...
