CHAPTER 7-LUNCH
A
s soon as the bell rang Preeti opened the door and hugged her sister tightly...both of them were crying badly...sameer just smilled seeing their sisterly bond...
"are beta damadjii aur naina ko andar toh ane de.." chachiji said...preeti unhugged naina and wiped her tears...
"aiye jijaji...aur tu chal mere sath pure ek din ki baat batani hai tuje.." preeti said pulling naina's arm....chachaji and chachiji smilled seeing them...sameer got busy talking with chachaji....
"bata kya hua kal hua..." preeti asked closing the door and sitting next to naina...
Naina's face flushed with shade of crimson remembering how she had hugged sameer in fear when she saw the lizard...how he teased her...his warm breath fanning against her skin...her face seemed to be heated up thinking about him....a shy smile touched her lips...
"chup....kuch nahi hua.."naina said still blushing...
"preeti yaha aa..." chachiji called her...naina sighed in relief as she would not tease her more.... Naina composed herself and went to kitchen helping chachiji....a smile was plastered on her face as she heard sameer's laugh and talks with chachaji...she placed all the plates on the dinning table she glanced at sameer...sameer looked at chachaji back when he saw her looking at him....
Everybody sat on the dinning table...while preeti made naina sit beside sameer forcefully..sameer was staring at her making her feel shy...but suddenly she felt like current inside her body...Mr Sameer Maheshwari had held her hand under the table...she looked at him with shocked expressions while he smirked looking at her....
"aaj tumhare meetings hai beta??" chachaji asked him..
"jii uncle...aaj teen meetings hai...and bohut dino ka kaam bhi baki hai.." he replied chachaji...while rubbing his thumb on her her hand...making her shiver...her heart was breating rapidly and was unable to eat...
"are naina tu kuch kha kyu nahi rahi hai.." chachiji asked her...
"jii ma..mai..kha rahi hu chachiji.." she said stammering...she looked at sameer pleadingly to leave her hand but he just smilled and ate his food holding her hand tightly more firmly than before...naina too ate a bit with difficulty...
"chachiji muje coffee chahiye.." sameer said making a cute expression...naina looked at him he was an alien...he looked at her and made a cute puppy face and winked looking at her making her eyes rooted to the floor with her pink face...he could make her feel shy in seconds...
"naina ekdum mast coffe banati hai...beta jakar damadji ke liye coffee bana.." chachiji said...naina literally ran to the kitchen not able to bear his intense gaze...she quickly made the coffee and brought it...she went near him with a shy smile...sameer looked at her and was having a mischeivous grin on his face...instead of taking cup of coffee he held her hand making her gasp....some hot coffee fell on his shirt...
"are naina kya kar rahi hai tu.." chachiji asked...
"I am sorry..." naina said apologizing for her mistake...
"damadji ko tere kamre mai lekar jaa aur unka shirt saaf karde beta.." chachiji said...naina nodded her head and took him to her room...sameer locked the door and pulled naina into his embrace....naina shivered at his move...her breath stuck at her throat...
"I missed you wifey.." he mumbeled carrassing her hairs...
"sameer..." naina called his name as her voice was laced with shyness...sameer unhugged her and looked at her pink cheeks....her eyes were looking down...he made her look at him with his fingers touching her chin softly...
"pata hai tum mere dil ko bohut tadpati ho... " he said...naina looked at him with confused face...he took her hand and placed it on his chest...naina's eyes widened as she could feel his heart pumping badly...
"jii ap.." she was not able to speak further...
"tum jab mere paas hoti ho toh mera bichara dil aise hi dadkta hai jaisa tumhara.." he said with a smile making her blush...she looked at him and moved a bit towards him resting her head on his chest with her hands placed on his chest...sameer wrapped his hands around her waist slowly....they remained in same position till they were disturbed by preeti's voice...
"khyaal rakhna apna...mai shaam ko aunga tumhe lene.." he said softly tugging a strand of hair behing her ear making her smile shyly...sameer then left to his office bidding goodbye to chachiji chachaji and his saliji...
