CHAPTER 15-LONG DRIVE

Naina was helping vishaka while deepika was busy talking with her..rohan and vivek were watching a match on tv...sameer came from his office...seeing him naina rushed in the kitchen to bring a glass of water for her patidev...

"bhai kitne din hogaye na hum kahi bahar nahi gaye.." rohan said looking at sameer...

"hmm...kaho kaha jaana hai.." sameer said with a smile as he was a family man...

"hmm...kahi long drive par jaayee..aaj vaise bhi zyada barish nahi ho rahi hai...mausam bhi mast hai aur dastoor bhi.." rohan said with a sparkle in his eyes...

"nahi mai aaj nahi aa sakti...actually mera na apne dosto ke saath video chat hai toh aaj nahi aa sakti mai.." deepika said...

"are deepu sab saath mai chalenge...bohut dino baad.." sameer said with a smile...

"nahi...actually kya hai na muje aaj jaldi sona hai...dopher ko bhi nahi soya mai..tum bacho jao...vishaka tum plss mat jaana mere sar mai dard hai.."vivek said...deepu winked at her father...he showed her a thumbs up...vishaka smilled seeing them..

"yeh kya baat hui...papa aap..mummy aap bhi nahi aaogi...deepu tu bhi...rohan tu toh ayega na.." sameer asked him...while vishaka...vivek and deepika glared him...

"mai..mai...mai..toh...ahhhhh.." he clutched his leg and sat on floor...

"rohan.." sameer went towards him cincernely...

" are bhai voh aaj football match tha na isliye lag gaya...mai nahi aa sakta aaj...aap na bhabhi ke saath jao akele mai.." he said smirking the last line receiving glares from sameer while deepika..vivek and vishaka pursed their lips to control their laughter seeing over dramatic rohan...

"muje nahi jaana...maa papa deepu rohan koi nahi aa raha muje nahi jaana..." naina said softly....

"toh plan cancel kardete hai.." sameer said but deepika screamed...making sameer and naina shocked...

"are bhaiya bhabhi plan cancel mat karo na...mer...mera matlab hai ki aap doni bahar ghum kar aao na...kitna acha mausam hai..." deepika spoke...

"haa beta tum dono bahar ghum kar aao...hum hai na ghar par...sameer naina ko icecream parlor lekar jaana...aur ha dyaan rakhna meri bachi kaa..agar meri bachi ko kuch bhi hua na toh..." sameer interrupted her...

"mummy kuch nahi hoga.." he said in disbelief his mother cared for her daughter in law more than him...Maa Maa naaa Rahi....he thought in his mind...naina chukeled seeing his expression..

"kya hua sab yaha jama kyu hue ho.." nanu asked them...rohan's eyes widened seeing him...deepika looked at rohan's face and he looked her back...

"nanu aap chaloge humare saath long drive par.." sameer asked him...nanu was about to speak when he saw rohan standing on sofa and gesturing him to tell no moving his hand in air...sameer and naina were facing nanu so they were not able to see rohan's gesture.....sameer saw nanu looking behind him so he turned...

"upar kyu chada hai rohan tu?" sameer asked in confusion...rohan gulped a lump of saliva...and then clapped his hand randomly...

"vo..voh ek machar tha bhai..." he said excusing...sameer nodded his head in disbelief...rohan is seriously mad he thought to himself...while the other family member except naina were gigling to themselves...Rohan got down embarrassed but somewhere happy as his and deepika's plan worked...his bhai bhabhi would go to

"beta tum dono jao saath mai...muje neend aa rahi hai.." nanu said with a smile...

"dekha deepu humara plan successful raha.." rohan said whispering to her..

"long driva ka toh pata nahi lekin jab voh vapas ayenge toh teri chutni zarur banegi.."deepu said with a forced smile...

"ab bhai bhabhi ke liye voh bhi ban jaunga.." rohan said and both of them smilled...everyone left while sameer looked at naina...she lowered her eyes seeing his intense gaze...he walked towards her she moved back...he leaned towards her her breath hitched feeling him so close...

"maa..." she said in shock...sameer quickly jumped back and looked back in fear...but then he heard naina gigling...she fooled me...he smacked his head..and turned back to her but she showed him tongue and ran away towards their room..sameer smilled looking at her...

She came down wearing a light pink kurta with a dupatta wrapped on her shoulder..sameer was oogling over her simplicity...

"Long Drive with Mrs Maheshwari.."sameer said pulling her by her waist towards him..she smilled a bit shyly..

They were sitting in the car silently the whole way feeling the new experience...glancing each other in certain intervals...

"aap acha gate ho.." naina finally spoke after some time..

"thanks..actually muje gana aur gane sunna pasand hai...tum gati ho.." he asked her with a smile...

"jii...kabhi kabhi..apko 90s ke gane pasand hai??" she asked him...

"haa bohut zyada..actually mere paas mere favourite gano ka ek cd hai..hum jab ghar return jayenge tabhi mai voh cd launga...ab chale hum ice cream parlor pohoch gaye.."he said with a smile...naina too smilled in response...
