Tina's Return

-Totally Ela after making Y/n clean their room. (RVB). Ya know, I had initially put a JFK quote, but I like this one just a bit more.

Ela-"Y/n, get up, Tina's here."

I rubbed my eyes. "Huh?"

Ela sighed before kissing me on the cheek- Did you wake up missing half your brain? Tina's here, like Marius said."

I shot up out of bed after returning the favor.

"Oh, she is?"

Ela- Yep. Laying down on the couch. I already talked with her for an hour. You'd better go say hi."

I started walking out the door when Ela stopped me.

Ela- Forgetting something?"

I looked around. "What could I forge- oh."

I was still in my underwear, as I had been sleeping right up until Ela shook me awake.

I threw on a pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt and went out into the main room. There Tina was, sprawled out on the couch, in her pink anime pajamas, watching the morning cartoons. Were it not for the nasty mess of stitches on her leg, one could almost think she was a little girl watching cartoons before school, waiting for her mom to bring her breakfast.

"H-hey, Tina, long time no see (Utter lie, it's been like 2 days). Hows your leg feel?"

Tina winced for a moment as she shifted on the couch, but then she smiled brightly.

Tina- Well, it hurts really bad, but I'm alright! Just glad I could come back so quickly. And to a vacation?! I can't believe Marius managed to get all of us on so long of a vacation!"

"Yeah, he really guilted out Six and hooked us up. You seem real chipper for having been stabbed just a few days ago. Something good happen?"

Tina- I mean, I get to stay on vacation here with you guys... but yeah."

I gave a naughty grin. "Grace?" I remember Tina mentioning Grace around Valentines Day and hearing Ela mention her name with Tina over the phone once or twice.

Tina blushed- Maybe..."

Elena walked into the room, grabbing some iced tea from the fridge and yawning.

"She visit you at the hospital?"

Tina- Well, a lot of the operators visited me. You all visited me really early, and then a majority of Rainbow either visited or sent texts to me, but Grace came by right after you all did and stayed with me for a long time."

Elena spoke up from behind the counter, pouring herself a glass of tea- Oooh. Are you two like... a thing now? I always saw you both talking in the hallways."

Tina- Y-yeah, we are."

Elena's eyes changed to those of a girl talking to one of her girlfriends, and I quickly knew that I had no way to talk or understand their conversation.

I waved bye to Tina and went back to my room.

Ela seemed suspicious- Wow, that was fast."

I raised my hands in the air at the looks of false accusation her eyes were staring at me with.

"Look, I tried talking to her, but then Elena came in and they started talking about girl stuff, and I couldn't follow any of it, and it seemed like I was just getting in the way, so I left."
