Waves slammed the creaky old boat savagely with the two occupants holding on for dear life. The man and woman pale skin looked sickly green once again vomiting from seasickness. Every way they moved their footing was off and only stubbornness kept them going. The man directed the small ship through the sea with the woman sitting down on the deck.
"It's not fair" she yelled throwing what's left of the apples they ate for the last four days.
"Melissa stop throwing things I'm trying to focus." Matthew complained dusting off his already filthy clothing. The two could not find any extra clothes on the ship they stole. These last four days was a nightmare for them. They had to learn how to fish and savage whatever supplies that ship contained.
"I cannot help it. I'm so angry that the plan failed and my sister is living my life." Melissa hissed thinking of her redhead sister who got her destiny. The sister who had no power, but people adored her. Snorting at how the croppers smiled as Andy came to help in the fields or when she solved some mundane problem. Those stupid villagers thought she was special, but Andy was nothing compared to her.
Nonetheless it was her that the King of Polla wanted to wed. The girl that Melissa spent her entire life despising gets to be a queen.
"The plan did fail now we have to think of another" Matthew grunted touching his scar that was inflame from the seawater. He looked tired and angry as Melissa but kept his composure. Matthew was the one who found the food and fish to keep them fed. Since Melissa refused to do so since being of royal blood and such things was below her pedigree.
Thinking about her blood a thought came to her head. "I know our next plan Matthew and this time it is full proof. "Mel grinned thinking of the revenge she had for Andy and her friends. "Yes, they will get what they deserved in the end."
