Age: Nearly 10 years

“Ungh! Too small,” Yui cursed as another of her emitted balls faded before it even took off. She had been at for hours and had to take a break or she would collapse, “why is this so hard”. Not so long ago when she first began on her hatsu, Yui discovered that she turned from a Manipulator into a Specialist when her eyes turned red – or were supposed to turn red.

She could master all five categories fully but only while her eyes were scarlet. Figuring out the other four had been a piece of cake but for some reason emitting wasn’t.

“Try to focuse on creating it in your hands first,” a voice said

Yui turned in shock. She had been using En the entire time but never noticed the person. Not even now could she quite pinpoint its location.

“I am over here,” behind her, but she turned back again when she felt a slight flicker to her left and in a second, she had sent a dart in that direction.

“Well done. Your senses are powerful,” the voice said and removed its zetsu. Immediately Yui was able to analyse her opponent.

Male. Old… very old… and strong, so strong. Yui didn’t think she’d ever sensed an aura this strong.

“Your analysing abilities are great but your In could be better,” the old man smiled and took a step in her direction, Yui changed into a defensive stance, “do not worry, child, if I wanted to hurt I already would have. Allow me to introduce myself, I am Maha Zoldyck,” the man bowed slightly

Yui changed back into a more relaxed stance but was still very tense, “I am Yui,” she said and bowed.

The man, Maha, chuckled amused, “I like you child,” he hesitated before saying, “how would you like to get stronger?”

“Are you offering to train me?”

“Maybe… maybe not”

“I am always looking for ways to get stronger,” Yui said determined, to which Maha began to outright laugh.

“I live on Kukuroo Mountain. If you can manage to get there in one piece I will train you,” and with those words the old man disappeared.

“And over here we see Kukuroo Mountain, home to the famous Zoldyck family of assassins,” the tour guide shrieked in her microphone, her light curly, red hair shining brightly in the sun, “the Zoldycks is a family of a Grandfather, Mother, Father and five children and possibly a great Grandfather. They are teached in the ways of assassination since birth”

The clicking of cameras filled the air, “ne, everyone, let’s move on. Unfortunately the grounds beyond the wall is private property, so we cannot continue,” the tourists looked at the walls with sadness before returning to the bus, “miss, do you need any help?” the lady asked when she saw Yui hadn’t moved.

“No, don’t worry. I will find my own way back,” the guide sighed at her response but paid it no more mind. When the bus was gone, Yui moved towards the huge gate.

“You won’t be able to open the gate, little one,” the gatekeeper appeared from a little house by the side of the wall.

“I am not little,” Yui felt a tint of unfamiliar anger. Why did everyone always just assume that she was weak?

“No… maybe not, but even the smallest gate is 2 tons”

“I can handle myself,” Yui took a step towards the door and felt her emotions well up. She released her nen while focusing on her strength, “I. CAN. DO. THIS” she utters and manages to push open doors 1 through 5.

Zebro’s eyes widened in shock of the power radiating from the girl, “how..?” he muttered as he watched her enter and close the door behind her with a bang.

Yui looked around the garden she had just entered (AN: when I say look around or something like that, it means she sense her surroundings through En just fyi). It was fruitful and green with many tall trees. Immediately upon her entrance she also felt about five other presences watching her every move.

She let her En flow freely to its full range looking for the old man. ‘There’ she thought and shot off like a rocket. Some of the people watching her had trouble keeping up but most found it easy. She took a short detour to avoid an angry aura in her way but it did not slow her down much.

“You’re late, young one,” this was Maha’s first words to his new apprentice upon her arrival

Yui smiled mysteriously and bowed, “please forgive me, sensei,” Maha’s smile grew at her response.

“Who is this, Ojiisan?” an elder man with silver hair and a light purple aura popped up out of nowhere

“My new apprentice,” Maha answered simply, the other male, his grandson Zeno, raised an eyebrow but did not object

“As you wish old man”

Just to clarify Yui’s abilities are:

Yui is well practiced in the four major principles as well as the more advanced techniques such as En, In and Ko

Escpecially her En is incredible with a huge range developed due to her lack of sight

She is a manipulator.

When her eyes turn scarlet - just like with Kurapika - she becomes a specialist and is able to master all five categories meaning she is master enhancer, master transmuter and yada-yada-yada.

Meaning she can also conjure "light objects" like darts or small knives.

Her abillities revolve around "air bending"

Breathtaker:She manipulate the air to remove itself from her target's lungs and thereby choking the victim.

Windspirit: She turn into a wind "spirit", meaning she dissolve into a mist for a short time enabling her to fly and enter cramped spaces.

Cyclone: She turn into a whirling tornado.

Spinning storm: She create small or large tornados

Pendulum: A small wind swirl around the head of the target making them go into a state of confusion. Includes memory loss, black-outs, dizziness and the like. The weaker the mind of the target and the longer the wind swirl the harder the person is hit.

I feel like half of this story is prologue... please forgive me if that bothers you - if it too much i will accept it if you skip it - I guess...
