It is so reassuring to know that God's unfailing love can be relied upon in every situation we find ourselves in. King David would often go and speak with God about the current predicament he found himself in and was not afraid to ask for mercy, healing and deliverance:
"Have mercy on me, Lord, for I am faint; heal me, Lord, for my bones are in agony. My soul is in deep anguish. How long, Lord, how long? Turn, Lord, and deliver me; save me because of your unfailing love."
Psalms 6:2-4 NIV
David could ask for these things based on the knowledge that His God loved him with an unfailing love. This is surely the basis by which we bring our requests to God, even in situations that seem hard to fathom:
"I am worn out from my groaning. All night long I flood my bed with weeping and drench my couch with tears. My eyes grow weak with sorrow; they fail because of all my foes. Away from me, all you who do evil, for the Lord has heard my weeping. The Lord has heard my cry for mercy; the Lord accepts my prayer."
Psalms 6:6-9 NIV
Be sure that God hears Your cries for mercy, He sees every single tear you cry. He accepts Your prayer no matter what form they come in. Sometimes all we have are tears and God hears the cry of our heart. No matter what you have done, God loves you. No matter how far away you have strayed from Him, He hears Your first cry! You can be sure that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday today and forever, so we can be certain He will bring You mercy, healing and deliverance at just the right time!
"Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield."
Psalms 5:12 NIV
Thank You that in Jesus, we are made righteous in God's sight and we can expect blessing upon blessing! Remember that His favour surrounds you like a shield even in the midst of battle!

Dear Lord,
Thank You so much for Your unfailing love which has been a constant throughout my whole life. There are often many difficulties facing me but I am reassured that You are the One I can call on for help. You can do more than what is humanly possible!
Today I bring before You all who are unwell and need Your healing touch ............................................. Show Your mercy and bring healing and deliverance. May hearts that don't know You, turn to You in prayer.
