"Woah!" You gasp in awe, stepping into your new room in Heavens Arena. Running over to the bed, you started bouncing excitedly on it, leaving Killua and Alluka by the entrance.
"Everything's so fancy!" You giggle, letting yourself fall on the bed. Soon enough, Alluka runs over and joins you. Meanwhile, Killua, who was snacking on a lollipop, nonchalantly walked over and sits on the chair by the bed.
"Isn't this great, Killua?" You ask happily, sitting up into a cross-legged position. "We have more space for training now!"
"I wouldn't be too sure about that," he speaks, pulling the lollipop from his mouth with an audible pop. "If you drop below the 100s, you have to check out of this room," he warns, waving his lollipop around. "A world of difference separates making it to the 100s and staying in the 100s."
You frown, pouting at him. "I finally made it past the 90s and this is what you say? Are you trying to discourage me?!" You exclaim, pointing a finger at him.
"Of course not!" He replies, looking a little flustered. Sighing deeply, he urges you to just listen. "The 100th floor is like a ceiling. Once you pass it, you get special treatment, so everyone focuses on holding their spot," he pauses, standing up from his seat and looking at you directly in the eye. "Some people will do anything it takes to stay in the 100s... Be careful, (Y/N)."
Slightly taken aback by his serious tone, you nodded on instinct. Killua's intense gaze softens once more after that, as he continues to eat his lollipop.
By the time you fully processed his words, though, you couldn't help but smile mischievously. "Killua... you were worried about me?"
Killua's eyes widen as he abruptly stops all movement. Slowly, a light blush spreads to his cheeks, though he was able to maintain half of his composure. "Of course I am, stupid!" he blurts out, before turning his back to you in slight embarrassment.
Your eyes widened as he said that, not believing he actually admitted it. You gave Killua a genuinely happy smile, ignoring the unusually warm feeling spreading over your chest. He wasn't able to see, though, since he was facing away from you.
After glancing at him one more time with that smile, you turned to Alluka and chatted with her for a bit.
A short while later, you realize that it was almost time for your fight. You started getting ready, pure excitement showing on your face and movements.
"Hey, (Y/N), do you like fighting?" Killua asks, noticing your excitement.
You turn to him. "Yeah! I know it sounds kinda bad to like fighting... but I just feel so much energy and thrill!" You say happily.
Killua gives you a small smile. "Don't worry, I get it."

"(Y/N) WINS YET ANOTHER MATCH TODAY!! THIS MEANS SHE'LL BE ADVANCING TO THE 150s!!" The announcer screams out as you look down at your bloodied opponent passed out on the ground. You unknowingly gave a strangely dark, yet satisfied smile as you examined his unconscious form. Eventually, you gaze up at the audience to look for Killua and Alluka, a much brighter and purer smile making its way to your face as you did so.
Killua finds you smiling and waving at him. He smiles back, raising and waving his hand back as well.
'Looks like I worried for nothing,' he thought, closing his eyes and smiling in relief to himself as he remembered what he told you a couple of days ago.
