They had been sitting there for a while. At first it was just to catch their breath, but now it was no more than them both having no idea what to say. It's not that they didn't have anything to say, both their minds were racing, but they couldn't find what was the right thing to say.

Eventually, Seven cleared this throat. "So, you're a professional, huh?"

MC turned and smiled at him. "You didn't figure that out yet?"

He smiled back, sheepish, "Yeah, I guess that was a stupid thing to say."

"Well, I told you that you weren't too much for me," She explained happily, "Really, I'm too much for you."

"Heh, we'll see about that."

She hummed in response, looking back at the sunset.  It was beautiful.

Seven fidgeted with his hands for a minute, then spoke again. "You're probably curious about my brother."

She looked back at him. "Only if you're willing to explain."

"Well, okay. He's my twin. We were bastard children, and my father is a politician who wanted nothing to do with us. Our mom kept us hidden because she said that our dad would take us if we didn't stay hidden."

MC nodded, wanting to hear more.

"My brother, Saeran, was weaker. He was targeted more. He was often tied up and stuff. It sucked, so I promised to get us out of there... But when I left to go work for the agency, I never ended up coming back."

"Oh..."

"Y-yeah. So, you can see why he'd be mad." He tried to diffuse the tension with that comment, but MC ignored it.

"That's awful, Seven..."

"I've never really told anyone that before, everyone who knows about this was involved from the start." He explained, "It's weird that you know, too, now."

She nodded slowly. "That's completely understandable."

"And I'd rather we not talk about my past in the chatrooms."

"Oh, yeah! I wasn't going to in the first place!" She assured him," That's incredibly personal."

He smiled. "Thanks."

She smiled back.

"So, uh, I made things depressing!" He declared playfully. "Instead, I'll make things happier!"

"Oh?"

"While I was fidgeting, I realized that Saeran never got around to searching me..." He dug into his pockets and pulled out MC's phone. "And I found this at the spot you got kidnapped."

She gasped and grabbed her phone with a smile on her face. "No way!"

Seven nodded and watched her inspect the phone.

She looked back up at him, "It's totally cracked, but not busted! I can get a ride for us!"

"I know, I know, I'm the best." He exaggerated, a hand on his chest and his eyes closed.

"You are!" She exclaimed. She planted a kiss on his cheek, then stood and dialed the number of her boss. This act thoroughly flustered Seven. She explained her situation briefly, then hung up and sat back down.

"You look like a tomato." She pointed out.

"You kissed me! What else am I supposed to look like!"

"I... I did, didn't I?" Her face lit up, too, and Seven laughed.

"Now who's a tomato?"

She shook her head and pressed her face into her hands. "I wasn't thinking, okay? Just let me calm down before my boss gets here."
