LATER
After classes were over, I met up with Jessica one more time before going home and getting ready for the show. I didn't know how excited Jessica was but as for me? It felt like a blessing when it came to tickets. Lucky.
I saw Jessica standing under one of the trees outside of school, so I rushed to her.
Me: hey!
Jessica looked at me from up to town. She giggled.
Jessica: look at you, running!
Me: ha-ja
I answered sarcastically.
Jessica: if only you could join a sport's team.
I gave her a look. I didn't have anything against sport, at all. I even had taken part in my previous high school volleyball team. It was fun while it lasted. I guess I was thankful for awesome teammates as well and that we all got along. I just knew well enough how hard team sport can be.
Me: Sure, if only they knew how much potential I have.
Jessica started laughing at my comment. I shrugged it off, even though her reaction bit hurt me because at one point, I did gave my best in previous sports.
Me: anyways, I thought it was a good idea to catch up before we leave. I wanted to ask you about the time, and the place where we should meet up.
Jessica stopped laughing and nodded.
Jessica: I honestly don't know. We could make it simple and just meet up around half past six and in front of the museum?
Me: agreed.
I did know where the museum was and now, I knew what time to be there. But Jessica wasn't finished...
Jessica: as for the dress code, I don't think this simple outfit really fits. Museum is considered between a cinema and theatre, so maybe a nice goat? A dress?
I sighed. I think I would have been fine just wearing jeans and maybe a more fancy shirt. I told it to Jessica but she just shook her head.
Jessica: as much as I love your optimism, did I mention that this is an opening night? A lot of people, who might be wearing fancy things as well?
My eyes widened. Opening night sounded logical if I thought back about how long we wanted to attend to that gallery. I sighed in defeat.
Me: fine, I'll look up something in my wardrobe. I'll see you then.
We hugged and we started walking in different ways. Few steps made, I turned around.
Me: so half past six, right?
Jessica turned around and gave me a "thumbs up" expression. She started laughing and turned around. At this point I may have been a little stupid for yelling that in front of our school but I just wanted her to confirm that I understood the official plan. I turned around while chuckling and continued to walk to the bus stop.
LATER
I was looking at the clothes in my wardrobe. Many of my dresses were in white and blue but they all were lovely at the end of the day. It was just... I didn't have much colour in there. I did have few plain single coloured dresses that I thought to be perfect but finally, I still decided to wear a blue-white floral dress. To be honest, those two colours were like my signature colours.
As for my dad, I told him that I was going to the cinema. I don't know why or how, but he accepted it more than he would to an art exhibition. He was more of a practical person, since he had studied economics.
