*Peyton's POV*

I watched how Jose smiled at me before closing the door after herself.  Was she really that clueless? It didn't even matter what I tried to do next, cause I already had made it clear how I felt about this and Mr.Harrington already declared the situation being under consideration.

Peyton: I can't believe this. this is absurd.

Mr. Harrington: Mr.Scott, my apologies but I have no other choice.

Peyton: other choice? Of course you have! Declare this a cancelled event and let her move on.

Mr. Harrington: I can't. This is personal for her and we can't let it be like a quarantine for her. It's still her life.

Me: I'm sorry,  I just feel concern towards the girl. Recalling past events and what  took place in the zoo and museum, I strongly believe we need to take more precautions.

Mr. Harrington smiled and stood up from his chair.

Mr. Harrington: being an intern with a job is hard. I appreciate the concern for the girl but we do need to get to the bottom of things.

At first I started to think about my training and how complicated this all is going to be. I was just an intern and I wasn't going to brought up considering another intern for this job. Then I went through all the talk we just had and realised.

Me:  wait...you want her to go to her baptism.

Mr. Harrington nodded and smiled weakly.

Mr. Harrington: if we're dealing with a killer, we need to find solutions and fast. We can't have her running around, attracting accidents.

Me: Just because she was there, doesn't mean she's connected. Might just as well been coincidences.

Mr. Harrington sat down and looked at me.

Mr: Harrington:  Not denying it but we also have to consider what other options do we have. We have hunted this person for years and even if she isn't a connection after all, I'll say better safe then sorry.

Me: I guess..

Mr.Harrington: then it's settled. She'll go to her baptism and we'll have ourselves more leads.

Me: are you sure about this? So far the killer has sent other people to do the dirty work. Are we able to even get them talking?

Mr. Harrington: we'll do whatever's necessary to find the connection between the killer and the girl. of course, if there is.

I nodded and left the room, closing the door after me. Although I didn't like this idea one bit because how much we might be risking, I also knew that this couldn't continue for much longer. Finding the connection might as well save her life.

When I reached to the first floor, Josephine stood up from her seat and I walked towards her. She seemed relieved.

Josephine: well? How'd it go?

I shook my head.

Me: you're going to your baptism.

Josephine: are you serious?!?

She squealed and started dancing a bit. That was quite a scene to see, considering how dangerous it could be. At first I automatically smiled a bit but when I thought it over, I rolled my eyes and pointed to my car, so I could drop her off. On our way to my car, she seemed to have other things in mind as well.

Josephine: hey, I wanted to ask you earlier but forgot. Why are you so against the baptism?

She was looking at a button on her jacket and touching it with one her fingers, when she asked that.
